Pathetic officiating tonight, both ways. This game lost everything from the middle of the first quarter after the refs called an onslaiught of fouls on the Bulls for no reason.
That last sequence the Pistons fouled several times on that defensive stop and nothing was called. This game is horrible so far. Thanks for ruining the last game I get to watch here at home, jackass refs.
This game has been a snore fest, that third quarter was the worst one yet, no one scoring for over four minutes, turnovers galore.
I watched the last minute of it, Bulls are just sloppy. Ball handling (lack of) skills is really hurting. Detroit managed to come back from 16 against us late, maybe we can do that same in the last. But it is looking unlikely.
Really poor game, I almost find there to be no use in watching this because the Bulls are still getting no calls on obvious fouls. This game is the worst I've seen in a few years.
<div class="quote_poster">I-Miss-MJ Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">time to focus on game 2.</div> Mm .. not if the officiating is the same as tonight.
Major props to Detroit, they're playing very well, but this game would be Detroit holding a close lead if the officiating was fair.
Lots of the Pistons push of on rebounds and I see Rip and Billups do it all the time, but doesn't get called. Not that's the reason we are getting killed. The Bulls just look horrible tonight, the only guy doing anything is Hinrich on the offensive end and he doesn't shoot much. Gordon is worth 0 if he isn't making a shot, because he can't handle the ball or play defense. And our bench is horrible, Noce can't make anything all he does is make turnovers. I don't know why the Bulls can't get a dam defensive rebound. I think we have to win game 2 if we want to win the series. We can win 2 games at home, but rather take game 2 and keep it close.
I dont think the officiating was that bad, more just a terrible shooting performance and too many turn overs from the Bulls. You guys went to the line 18/28 to our 15/18, and shot at .329% from the field for the game (23/70).
Are you serious? The officials let two hands on Bulls players 30 to 40 times and the Pistons got away with so many hacks, especially ones on Deng where he was jabbed in the eye and the Pistons player was over the back as well with no call. Going to the line wasn't the big deal as it was the game being a total rip. Worst game I have ever seen, I don't even care for the loss if it was entirely fair because you can't win every time, but the officiating was absolutely disgusting. You would think having the officials totally against you all game would affect your overall play. The Pistons played very well and the Bulls were good at the start and then the calls came flooding in. Then no calls at all, then the game just went ugly.
Well as you said, it went both ways, it wasnt the reason the Bulls lost this game, they just played like crap.
They played like crap because they lost their momentum from never having any calls their way and having everything against them in the beginning. The refs demoralized them and you can't expect a team to do anything in particular if the refs aren't doing their jobs right. Nocioni on the other hand was just off the entire night, he shouldn't have been out there.
Our whole bench was terrible though, but, your right Noce air-balled like every time I saw him shoot and the times he didn't shoot, he just turned the ball over.
