Mikki Moore sounds like a good option. He would want the full MLE, so I don't think we could get Bibby, or Blake...

I say we go for Moore and sign Steve Francis as a backup PG off the bench. Rafer has good chemistry with our stars.

Draft an athletic wing, a big with range, or just someone who can shoot the 3 ball.

    Only if JVG leaves.

Having Francis & Skip would be a turnover & bad shot waiting to happen. Not a good idea. Both are erratic and aren't reliable shooters. BAD MOVE!

If JVG does leave, and Franchise does get bought out...it's only a matter of time baby.

Skip is a perfect suit as backup PG because he can play a whole game without turning it over. Get off his nuts on his shooting, lately he's been hitting them and he will only get better.

Only get better? He shot TERRIBLE in the playoffs and game 7. His turnover when we were up by 5 cost us the game. Lately he's been nothin short of horrible

If we get Bibby or Blake to run our offense we will definitly get out the first round of the playoffs next year and maybe we can get Sam Mitchell as a coach too

Well I think it's pretty absurd to think that we can get either Billups or Bibby for just the MLE. Billups is looking for the first big payday of his career and for Bibby, he'd want to get the most cash possible because this should be the last long-term deal he gets. If we do get Adelman Bibby might be enticed but I don't see him taking a $20 million paycut just to play here as the third option.

What? No more three pointers please!!! Look at what Utah has done without "Three point shooters" like wise GS, they will litterally shove the ball down your throat with penetration, like I said a long time ago(And actually"Rock4life" said it too!!) We need players who can go to the basket and finish!!! Being dependant on a low percentage shot is just stupid!!.

I agree we need slashers, but at the same time you need shooters to finish off the shots that the slashers create for them...........Jerry Stackhouse is another name out there.......

We should try to keep Bonzi. He will have to play this year if he expects any team to sign him next season.

Anyone think we have a chance at getting Gerald Wallace? He is an unrestricted FA. Can we combine or MLE and LLE to have like 7.5mil? That might be enough.

What about Antoni McDyess? He is an unrestricted FA. A big with some range who can grab rebounds and block some shots.

Sign McDyess with the full MLE, and Ime Udoka/M. Peterson with the LLE.

    or

Trade Battier, Howard, Head, and Sura for Lewis (S&T), and Collison.

We have a lot different options. I hope Morey makes some good decisions.

I think that talking about offseason moves right now is just fantabasketball except for getting rid of "The Fail Man" Jeff Van Gundy. The only necessary offseason move is working hard with T-Mac/Yao's mentality and winning attitude if we don't want to trade one of them. Right now (I mean from the beginning of their careers in Houston till now) they seems like little childs who needs mom to recovery after a couple of bad shots. I wanna see angriness in their eyes, I wanna see passion, heart and motivation.

Then, we can talk about new players.

    <font color=""Red"">NICE ADDITION!! I rate it 9.5/10</font>
<font color=""seagreen"">0/10. Hell no, man. Never getting rid of Shane. I hope he retires in Houston!</font>

Even if we had Shane and T-Mac, I would want Gerald Wallace on this team. If we wanted to match up with the quicker teams, stick Shane at the 4, T at the 3, and Wallace at the 2. We would be THE BEST defensive team in the league for years to come...3 years to be exact if Mac does retire.

Yea, well, I had to put one move that would seriously shake up the roster. I would never trade Yao/T-Mac. The Rockets wouldn't get anywhere near Mac's worth, and Yao is untouchable regardless. That trade works salary wise. Seattle will lose Lewis anyways, so they get an expiring contract, 2 years of J-Ho, BATTIER, and Snyder for Collison and Lewis. Rashard can play good D, rebound, and create. I still can't believe we had 3 picks before this guy.

What's funny is everyone laughed at Rock4life when he said we should sign C-Web. I bet you wish we had him now, he's been going off in the playoffs.

    EDIT:
    Rafer/Span/Lucas
    Francis/Head/Bonzi
    T-Mac/Novak/Bonzi
    Lewis/Collison/Hayes
    Yao/(1st rounder)/Tsak

We'd still have the MLE...unless Francis does want that rather than the vets min/LLE. I guess we wouldn't resign Jake.

The question is, Collison or Watson?

Maybe we could give them Sura(filler)/Battier/Snyder/Rafer +1st for Ridnour/Lewis(S&T)

We need a creator. I'd hope that we can talk Bonzi to come back under new coaching. Then maybe make some much needed trades. I'm not sure if we'll get a contributor in the draft, but a athletic PF/C would be nice. Even though Head had a terrible playoffs, I'd love to have him back. He's going to be a bigtime player in this league! Our biggest challenge is going to find a coach that can spread the offense out. I feel like Yao & Tmac had to carry too much of the burden under JVG. I watch other teams and everybody on the court scores[IMG] Let's pray that we can have either a offensive minded coach like Adelman, or a diverse coach like Larry Brown. This offseason will be a big one!

Gerald Wallace is a BEAST! The good part about it is I think everybody in the league would want to come here after seeing how close we are to greatness.

The ONLY person I'd arrange a deal for involving Tmac is KG. Anybody else is either off limits or not as good. If we can snag up Rashard that also be GREAT. He's a PERFECT fit beside Tmac & Yao. But again, Battier is too a valuable. Maybe we can work around trading him

Yep..I'm used to it by now lol. Webber's better than Howard and Hayes, with more playoff experience.

Francis? NEVER. How about Sam Cassell?

I think Blake is a better point guard than Bibby. Blake is better than MOST NBA point guards. If you take the meaning of a point guard like.... distributing the ball first and scoring 2nd; team involvement first. But then again, 3rd scorer.... Bibby would be better. I think we have enough scorers, just a TRUE TRUE TRUE point guard will fix our problems. Maybe add another scorer - low post presence. I love the idea of Antonio McDyess coming here.
