I thought I'd be watching the Cavs-Nets game, but I ended up just catching a few snippets of the game between commercials of that new show: "ABC and NBA riding Lebron's dick." Anyway, from what I saw the officiating was ****, which affected us a little more than them as we were the ones being aggressive going to the rim and getting no calls. They killed us on the boards as expected, but we also turned it over way too much. FRank is an idiot who couldn't draw up a play at the end there other than another iso for RJ. Also, Kidd got abused by Lebron when he was on him. Carter and Wright did pretty good on him, and I thought Wright should have been guarding him way more and especially on the last play. We should get the next one as long as we hit a shot, get a rebound so we can actually run, and limit turnovers.
That is an odd move. I figured Jefferson would be a much better defensive matchup. I didn't get to watch the whole game, but I still think you guys match up well against the Cavs. The key is to force them into long-range shots and, like everyone else pointed out, to rebound. If you guys can grab those long rebounds, then you can jumpstart the fast break. The game becomes more wide open and Cleveland's big men don't impact the game as much when its not a halfcourt style. You're guards did an excellent job, but the big men really got it handed to them.
Wright was doing an unreal job on Lebron, he's a better defender than RJ. Plus, it allowsa Rj to focus on offense a little more. I just don't get why we would put Kidd on him instead.
Jason Collins played 28 minutes and grabbed 4 rebounds... Is that the worst rebounding 7 footer in the game? Or would it be Mikki Moore with 3 rebounds in 37 minutes?
