MIL Trades Villanueva (2.5M) and Mo Williams FA(2.5M) or Charlie Bell FA(800K) LA Trades Bynum (2 M) and Mckie FA (2.5) or Smush FA(800k) FA are resigned why for Mil - They'll have a potential all star in bynum (DUH) why for LAL - Solves our PG problem with Mo Williams to start and Bell off the bench for the PG, SG or SF spot... Then Indiana Trades JO (18M) LA Trades LO (12.5M) + Cook or Vlad why for indy - Helps them be a run n gun team with granger, odom, dunleavy and murphy why for la - Starting 5 of: Williams, Kobe, Bell or Walton, JO and Kwame with Mihm, Turiaf, Cook or Vrad, Vujacic, evans as reserves
Why trade one of your two best trading chips in a deal that hardly elevates the Lakers into a top six team out west, let alone an elite one? The Lakers don't want to trade Bynum at all, so I can't picture them trading him in a deal that doesn't involve getting an all star in return.
You guys would be seriously deluding yourself if you think you could get an all-star for Bynum and chump change. FWIW, I think those two trades are realistic and would be extremely beneficial to the team, though I'm not sure why Milwaukee would want Bynum when they already have Bogut.

We're basically trading Bynum for Villanueava. Mo Williams and Charlie Bell are both free agents. We can probably sign Bell with the MLE, not so sure about Williams, but there are other options out there, like Steve Blake. Villanueava hasn't really done anything in the league. He can score, that's about it. Doesn't play defense, I've read his work ethic is questionable. He's not the type of player I'd want on this roster, at least not for that price. If this is the best we can get for Bynum, then package him with someone else for a better deal, or just keep him on the roster. There's no use in making a trade just to make a trade. As for the second trade, I love it, but I'm not so sure if Indiana will accept. If we can get Jermaine O'Neal while still being able to keep a young talent like Bynum, then why not do so?
we need defense, not offense, and we need a PG, who can defend! the reason we lost so many games this year, and the reason we lost in the playoffs is because of our crap perimeter defense from smush and kobe. once we get another good player on offense (hopefully a post player) the presure on kobe will loosen and he will be playing better defense. plus the new pg who can play defense will hopefully stop some of the drives and 3 pointers that people like barbosa kill us with. mo williams is a decent defender ( better than smush) can score well, can pass well and can put up alot double-doubles during the season. i still think we are another season away from aquiring all the peices we need to become a definate playoff team and quite possibly a contender, but it wont be by next season unless we get KG.

The 2 trades COMPLIMENT each other... if one does not go down then the other wont... so basically youre trading Bynum + Odom + mckie or smush + Vlad or cook for Villanueva + JO + mo williams or bell
