I always thought he had talent and he's now showing it in a Nets uniform...I forgot who we traded for him.

Well first off he's talented, athletic & young. 3 things that don't fit well with JVG. I think we traded him for Jim Jackson if I'm not mistaken. I know he went to New Orleans...........

I always liked Boki. I know they used to call him "slasher", that was the first time I had heard that word... but man... can he shoot.

It was Jimmy Jackson and Bostjan Nachbar that got traded for David Wesley. I thought we could've done a 1 on 1 deal straight up instead of adding Boki.

I guess Rockets organization considered him a scrub to add onto the deal just to get rid of him.

Salary wouldn't have matched. Besides, the Rockets hadn't picked up his fourth year and he would have turned a free agent that summer anyways.

He was a bust at the time and had no defensive game whatsoever (still doesn't), it's not like we gave away Steve Nash or anything.

Gave up someone that now makes clutch shots and keeps Nets in the game at times. He's better than Luther Head plus he's got height (something Rockets lack)

I'm not sure who new Orleans traded to Houston but New Jersey for Marc Jackson, Linton Johnson and cash considerations, according to wikipedia.

It was a good trade at the time. Jim Jackson and Nachbar were playing poorly, and we got a solid player in return.
