Me and Legacy were arguing about who was helping Yao, Patrick Ewing or Hakeem Olajuwon.

When Patrick Ewing was coach here, he taught Yao I believe, but I guess now its Hakeem.

The more I read about JVG, the more disappointed I am. I've heard rumors that when Steve Francis wanted back in Houston and spent more time with Yao, JVG caught wind of it and was absolutely against it. He also sent SF packing to Orlando not because he wanted Tmac, but he wanted to get rid of SF. Now this thing about Yao?

Jvg also did not allow CD to help train Yao.

Steve Francis HAD to go. I personally wanted Steve out too. Watching him play was the most frustrated I've been as a Rocket fan.

Yea I didnt like Francis here either. I think it was a great move. Mobley was in that deal too, so we sent 2 ball hogs for a superstar and Howard.

Where did you read all that stuff. Even the thing about JVG not wanting Hakeem to work with Yao. Is all that stuff legit, or just speculation?

Maybe Yao can benefit some from Hakeem. I wouldn't expect a big difference here. Hakeem and Yao were worlds apart in terms of physical ability. Amare Staudemire or Dwight Howard would probably benefit more from him.

Cuttino I tought was a good player on both ends and by no means a "Ball hog" He's the one player I wish we could have retained.

I get a lot of it from the pruyen interview posts from clutchfans. He translates most of the interviews into english. I also heard John Feignen mention a few stuff that was actually covered in the interview (like the CD thing). I am 80% sure its legit. But, then again, some chinese sources are questionable. But for the most parts, they have had interviewed Yao quite a few times, and there wasn't really any questions as to whether it was legit or not. Most of the questionable stuff comes from the rumors and gossip they spread (like Tmac and Yao not getting along, or a few stuff on Yao rehab).
