Hey who do you guys want for the guys we draft for this upcomming draft??? I want: Sean Williams PF BC: He is 6'10" unbelivable shotblocker who is a very good rebounder. Good Help defender. Has Amare/Ben Wallace atheleticism. Weakness is off the court issues and not motivated but progress has been seen especially shooting wise. If vetrans could keep this guy in line and light a fire under him we have ourselves a top notch rebounder, shotblocker, post defender. Javaris Crittenton PG GT:Quick Tall Athletic and can shoot and a great play maker. Gabe Pruitt PG USC:Very athletic, Has good range, and plays good defence. Need i say more. I think those players are great talents as well as fit a need what do you guys think??

If JVG is gone next season, I think Novak will see some playing time to get quick points in little time. Some coaches dont care about great shooters who are a liability on defense ( ex: MIA --> Kapono, Sixers--> Korver). So with that said, I think we need to cover the PF position. And yes i think a strong , athletic PF, who can rebound and just bring energy is good. This is probally one of the deepest drafts in NBA history, so trading up wouldnt be a bad idea.
could rockets trade up and get Yi. He would slot in at the PF and it would be 2 chinese players on the same team. Nah?
I've recently read up several articles and the Rockets main need in my opionion would be the starting powerforward spot. There are a lot of young prospects in this draft and I hear that the Rockets will try to trade up, but don't know if they have the assets to do it. If we send Howard + Alston + first rounder to another team for a Point gaurd + their lottery pick it can be done but I don't know if any teams will pull the trigger. top 5 PF Lottery Prospects that would flourish with this team: 1) Brandan Wright- Very athletic and good all around...more than likely we have 0 chance at him even with trade. 2) Jaokim Noah- Perfect for our team which lacks spirit and drive towards end of game. His ball handling and so so scoring can come in handy. Excellent on defense. 3) Al horford- Best scoring powerforward in draft....can do it all and is big bodied. He can hit the outside jumper and can play C 4) Yi Jian Lin- Almost as athletic as Wright...can score, but probably will take time to adjust to NBA defense. His publicity with the Rockets would either help or hurt him. 5)Julian Wright- Probably the second best option for the Rockets and VERY attainable if we trade up. He can pass, shoot, defense and is a point foward. If the rockets do not trade up, then I propose they trade their pick to get a shooter that can nail a three. The fact is the draft gets thin near our pick for our need. Pfs thin but there is a flurry of Shooting gaurds like: Morris Almonds Alondo Tucker Marcus Williams Arron Aflalo
