Brad Miller is also out this summer (whoop-de-doo, I know), and Antawn Jamison will skip the tourney, paring down that frontcourt to a manageable few.

I guess this gives Bosh and Dwight more time up front.

It's for the best, Lamar Odom needs to take of his shoulder and knee injury, and work on his cardio over the offseason. Hopefully he can improve shooting with his off-hand, which was one of his goals last summer prior to the tragic death of his son.

I'm also leary about Kobe playing for Team USA. If you look at the group of older players who participated last year, most of them had a dropoff in production this season or ended up being injured.

    Lebron James
    Gilbert Arenas
    Elton Brand
    Dwyane Wade
    Brad Miller
    Chris Paul
    Paul Pierce
    Joe Johnson

Wow.. you are right. I did not notice that. But wouldn't you be in better shape since you played through the summer also.[IMG]

No, playing too much will wear you out.

You know what kobe has over those guys? Brains imo!

Kobe's is smart... he knows what he's getting into... just like his knee surgery... he refused or chose not to play until he was fully healed whereas a guy like wade opted to be greedy and go for another ring at 60% skill level
