I actually disagree. Without LeBron James, the Cavaliers could be the worst team in the league. And it's not really even about that. Who has Jefferson been going head to head with this entire series? Not Ilgauskas or Gooden, but LeBron James. That's who Jefferson should be asked about. Has anyone else even stood out for the Cavs in this series? You could make a case for Hughes, because he was good in game three, but he really showed some iffy shot selection in the first two, especially game two. James almost singlehandedly won that one for them. I just don't see where Jefferson's coming from.

LB23 is going to be one of the greatest players ever. He is a great athelete. Jefferson is too. I have tons of respect for RJ, but if i had to chose it would be JB23. He makes the team. I just don't see where Jefferson's coming from.</div> Come on VC, if you've watched this series as clsoe as I have you'd see that every game broadcast (especially the first two) basically consisted of the networks riding Lebron's dick and the scrappy, fairly boring games in the background. Lebron has a hell of a supporting cast when you think of it. Their two bigs are great rebounders and have great post games. Lebron's 7 rpg isn't the reason this is the best rebounding team in the league. Hughes was a former all-star on the Wiz (would have been if not for the injury) who can defend. Varejao is a helluva spark off the bench. Snow can play defense when needed. Two years ago, Marshall was almost 6th man of the year and Damon Jones started for Miami. They don't even get PT in Cleveland. To top it off, Pavlovic is turning into an all-around great role player. If I remember correctly, Cleveland did pretty damn good this season when Lebron was injured (I believe they were undefeated but I'm not too sure). He has a better supporting cast then most stars in the league, and they deserve more respect than just being called "the James Gang."
Yeah, I know where you're coming from. The media does pay a lot of attention to him, but isn't a lot of it warranted? James only missed four games this season, so it's really hard to say how his team would do without them. It's still really hard to deny the impact he's had on this squad though. The year before he came to Cleveland, the Cavs had a 17-65 record with a better core of players than they'd have if you took LeBron off their roster today. They had Carlos Boozer, Ricky Davis, a younger Zydrunas Ilgauskas (in his first All-Star year), and Darius Miles. Fastforward a few years, and they're sitting towards the top of the East with a 50-32 record. That turnaround wasn't from adding Larry Hughes; it was from adding a superstar wing capable of 27/7/6 a night. True, there are other players on this team who have contributed, but at the end of the day, no Lebron means no playoffs.
The only players on the team that I think we should keep are: James Gooden Z Sasha Hughes Varejao I haven't been too impressed with anyone else. Maybe Gibson. Marshall and Jones have completely lost their 3 ball. Newble and Pollard...are you kidding me? Snow - Very good defender....but that's about it. I say we build off the 6 players that I listed. We made some bad trades and some bad decisions. Our lineup right now could be: Andre Miller LeBron James Boozer Z Ricky Davis or Larry Hughes

This sucks for clevland. because while either Chicago or Detroit will be tuned up and ready. the cavs will have won 2 series playing like crap. That last game was impossible to watch and nether team shoulve won. IMO they havent had to step their game to another level in the playoffs yet. and they may not be ready for the intensity that waits for them in the next round.
