<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Baron Davis and the Golden State Warriors have learned there's a big downside to having pulled off perhaps the biggest upset in NBA playoff history in the first round. There are still three rounds to go -- and they all require even more energy and mental toughness than the Warriors have mustered so far against the Utah Jazz. "The emotions are crazy after you do something big like that," Davis acknowledged Thursday after the Warriors returned home from their first back-to-back losses since March in their opening games against the Jazz, who visit Oakland for Game 3 on Friday night. "You don't try to have a letdown, but we're a young team that gets a lot out of the emotion we felt in the first round," Davis said. "Now we're trying to go back to work, and we're getting it. ... We need some energy and momentum, and hopefully coming home will bring that."</div> Source: ESPN.com Can't wait.
I know everyone's already said it, and I probably have too, but God bless Golden State's fans. You guys make this feel like a rivarly college game. Outstanding playoff atmosphere. I'm partial to the Jazz because of Deron Williams, but you can't sit and watch the Warriors play at home in front of that crowd and not root for them.
What does everyone think of the officiating so far? Seems so one sided in favor of the warriors. Some BS calls against Williams.
holy crap! 70 points in the first half, that is really fantastic, warriors doing a great job out there.

I don't think any team can really anticipate what it will be like coming into the Oracle Arena during these playoffs. You just can't understand how much passion is surging through the building -- IMO it's like nothing else in the history of sports! We GS fans are making history in that Arena -- when we go to the NBA finals this June, it'll be something that will go down in history and be talked about for years to come. If you have a chance to go to one of these games at the Oracle, savor it -- and give GS your heart and soul. <font size=""7"">WARRIORS!</font>
Ugh, some things never change with Fisher. Still can't run the break. That's 2nd or 3rd that's he blown. Bring in Giricek.
Warriors had game 2 in the bag but missed a couple of free throws. Oh well, they are back on course with this game. The first win in any series is always the toughest. Just make sure you win game 4 in Oakland, Warriors, and you should be set to win the best of 3 after that. I have recovered from my bball blues caused by George Karl and I am returning to the Nuggets forum tomorrow or Sunday at the latest. The soul and the true style of the Nuggets lives on with the Warriors. Go Warriors!
Awesome game for the Warriors. They are in total control of this game and its a great way to gain some momentum. OMG BARON DAVIS WHAT A SLAM!!!!!!!
