Yeah, we needed Richardson to pick up scoring load when Jackson has been ineffective. And, he just did that. Harrington, Monta, Barnes and Pietrus also contributed nicely.

It felt like Biedrins is always fighting against tide waves, and he fought extremely well, grabbing 13 rebounds. Without him, Utah's front line up simply dominated us. And, that dunk was indeed impressive. I don't think we could have won without his contribution.

This team is a frenzy and highly emotional team. And, this is one of few times I saw that fans are constantly making difference by providing fuel for player's emotions. Perfect match between players and crowds.

For this game, Davis indeed played like MVP. He caused Utah's PGs into deep foul troubles, dropped 32 pts and 9 assists, made 6 steals, and when we are only up by 15 pts in 4th quarter, he once again carried the team to the safe distance. I know that Davis is good when he is healthy and willing, but this good? Wow.

Of course, it's just a beginning, and we did what we are suppose to do, winning all home games. There is no way we should take this game as a great achievement. 3 more to go.

I don't know how far this team will go. And, I also don't believe that this team is made for a long term or anything close to championship. But, wow. It was worth waiting for 13 years, and I will enjoy it as long as it last...

<div class="quote_poster">Clif25 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I agree about Jason Richardson having an awesome game. He was very impressive tonight. He was knocking down tons of jumpers, then some 3s, and doing what he does.

You also have to like Andris' double-double and sweet hands and dunk of the night from nba.com.

Pietrus did have a nice night. He went 7-8 from the FT line, which is amazing for him. His FT's looked very good tonight. He also had 2 blocks, a steal, and 14 points.

The best stat for the Warriors tonight and in the series has been the amount of turnovers they've forced Utah into. Going into tonight's game it was an average of 22 turnovers per game in the first two games, and tonight they had 25 turnovers. The goodthing about tonight was that the Warriors kept their mistakes to a minimum. I remember in the first game that the Warriors had the lead for most of the 3rd and everytime I thought they had a chance to run away with it, they'd come down and make a bad turnover or miss a whole bunch of defensive rebounds and the momentum would then return to Utah's side or being neutral, which favors Utah at home, especially in a close game. But tonight, the Warriors did a good job in protecting the ball and the defensive boards were taken care of by the Warriors by the most part.

This was a good game, but after this team dug themselves a hole from the first two games, it just means they can breathe still just a little bit. The Warriors need to at least go 3-1 from now on. I think they can do it, but as we have seen, they can also blow it as well.
But, we Believe! Go Warriors. haha.

On a side-note: The Warriors must love playing on ESPN (blow out of Utah tonight and blow-out of Dallas earlier in the postseason)...or maybe it's just because they've played at home in the previous ESPN games.</div>

I know Boozer and Williams are good, but I have to say AK47 is making this series very difficult. He comes out from nowhere to block shots after shots, and he is disrupting our team's rhythm. And, considering we have basically no offense structure, rhythm is all we got!

It felt like Biedrins is always fighting against tide waves, and he fought extremely well, grabbing 13 rebounds. Without him, Utah's front line up simply dominated us. And, that dunk was indeed impressive. I don't think we could have won without his contribution.

You mean that offensive foul on Baron? Clearly, he shoved his free arm in Kiri's face. Watch the replay. Looked like BD was trying to injure him. I wouldn't be surprised if he was. I mean what he did after the dunk was just classless. But no, surprise, with all the thugs on this team...

Here's proof! Makes me laugh every time I see it, it's so ridiculous

I just want to publicly thank Jerry Sloan for starting the liability..... and thank you Derek fisher for playing perhaps your best game ..... i mean no assists ..... well that isnt a surprise is it..... you are too worried about getting your own brick up

and no rebounds.....well come on .,...we all know you run from any contact that isnt a flop..... so no rebounds is no surprise

and fouling out..... fish..... you have to move your feet in this game.... you cant just stand there like a pole and reach..... oh wait ..we are talking about your game .... yes yyoouuu can

I got really nervous and i thought it rather unfair and bias of the refs to give you those fouls.... who are they rooting for utah?..... i mean we need you on the court you pylon..... the refs nearly screwed us again

I mean 16 minutes..... come on you need to play 48 ...... imagine if you had played 48 we would have won by 60...doing the math

how many players in history are getting cheered like this by both teams? fish.... you must feel the love.... i mean naive utah fans love you.... and can see past all your pathetic liabilities.... and warrior fans want you on the court as it is like having 1/2 a player at best....

fish you ran quite a few brilliant fast breaks..... for us.... just cant grasp how to do that can you after 11 years....

you really must have the gift of gab.... a p[olitician for sure.... no one with your lack of talent could stay in the nba 11 years ...kudos to you mr. liability...

now play 48 on sunday will and stay out of foul trouble ....the warriors need you

Bottom line is they're going to allow some incidental contact on a play like that unless your name is Andris Biedrins. Both bodies have their momentum going and if you call ticky tack fouls on those plays, then we won't have any spectacular plays. Those are the kind of big plays which change momentum in a game.

On that play, AK-47 has to defend because it's too easy for a defensive player to flop every time when an offensive player is attacking the rim, so they've put that semi-circle there.

I doubt Baron was trying to hurt AK-47 because he wasn't there that long (tough to see if not for the photo) and AK-47 didn't reel to the floor. That's really such a CHEAP accusation, and yeah who's side are you on?

Finally, it goes to show you that Baron's getting some non-calls cause he's a superstar.

    Warriors played great.

Baron's dunk will be the defining moment of this series; assuming Warriors take the series.

LMAO...I'd first like to say that my thoughts and prayers with D. Fish and his family, but I have to agree with this post for the most part....for years commentators have praised this guys defense, and I haven't yet figured out why....I've seen WAAAAAAAAAAAY too many people absolutely torch this guy to believe that he's a good defender (Bibby,Billups,Francis,Parker,A.I., Davis,etc.).......D. Fish is a decent PG who can hit an open shot and make a big play everynow and then, but Utah better find someone else to matchup with Davis because he's leaving him stuck in the mud everytime....

^^^From game 2 thread. Also, every Warrior fan on here was completely correct in predicting that Fisher would ultimately hurt the Jazz way more than help them. I'm sure everyone's condolences go to him and his family but as a basketball player the guy is just garbage and way overrated recently because T-Mac was too dumb and scared to take advantage of Fish guarding him. 1-7 FGs, 6 personal fouls, getting torched consistently by any semi-competent guard, I expect all of this to continue throughout the series since this is mostly what he did in his few years with GS. I'm glad hes playing the rest of the series, he could hurt us with some bigs shots but his play during the rest of the game will probably be pretty bad.

Hes a great guy, good spot up shooter, decent defender when he can keep up with his man but the guy just refuses to play within his limits and constantly reaches on defense whilst his man torches him and gets an and 1 play.

yeah he does this waaaaaaaaaay too much, there was a play last night where he was playing B. Davis up his grill and he completely got torched as soon as Baron put the ball on the floor...when you're dealing with a penetrator you have to back up off of him especially when you're not quick enough to stay in front of him.

I'm thinking of rallying all the Jazz fans and getting them to write angry, scathing emails to the NBA about the poor officiating, especially that Baron offensive foul. Once they see the picture how can they not suspend him!

There's a conspiracy, I tell you, the commish wants the Warriors to win. It's so obvious. And the funny thing is the Jazz are still up 2-1! I wonder what that says about the Ws?

Yeah, Warriors basketball is awesome right now. Thanks for the awesome words. As far as Davis' dunk, I am with you. However that little in to traffic 360 (well slighly less than 360) layup by Davis was just as good if not better than that dunk on AK47, at least in my opinion.

I especially liked Jason Richardson from this game. If he's playing like that, then hopefully Jackson gets his Dallas-series-game going and Harrington continues to come, and you have Baron, JRich, Jackson, and Al (along with AB doing what he does) and that's a lethal squad. You still have to give it up to Matt Barnes who continues to perform well.

As far as Derek Fisher: he may have hurt the Jazz last game, at least by looking at the box score. He went 1-6 where as everyone else shot a very good percentage. I am happy if Fisher continues to take shots from Boozer, Harpering, and Giricek.
