What is your current wish list for potential coaches for the Orlando Magic? Feel free to throw Brian Hill in there if you wish he stayed. [IMG]

I forgot about Mussellman, he'd be a pretty good choice.

Also, I find it interesting that your dog Sandy has a better basketball IQ than Dwight Howard. Also, your dog is smarter than your grandma? That's pretty harsh, Gators. [IMG]

I would NOT want Larry Brown. He plays too many lineups, causes too much drama, and Darko would **** his pants.

Well, Rick Adelman is out. I'd love Rick Carlisle in Orlando. I just hope that the Magic don't wait until all the good coaches are gone, they need to get on it!

I think you guys would do well to get Carlisle. Not the most exciting coach, but people seem to forget that he was the original mastermind of that Detroit team before they got Rasheed. Good years in Indiana. Might still have a job there if their organization didn't fall for the Mike Dunleavy hype.

Carlisle would be the lead be my first choice... I want a coach that plays more uptempo and that can utilize Dwight and Darko as well as J.J. and Ariza.

    Rick Carlisle
    Stan Van Gundy
Scotty Skiles would have been perfect when we had the chance...

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Mavericks assistant Sam Vincent will be named the new head coach of the Charlotte Bobcats , a source confirmed Wednesday.

Minor details still are being worked out, but the Bobcats are expected to hold a news conference Friday to introduce Vincent.

Vincent, 44, will replace Bernie Bickerstaff, who is remaining with the team in a front-office position. Bickerstaff met with Vincent for a second time Saturday in Dallas.</div>

However, Van Gundy is still available. He turned down the Indiana job.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Former Miami Heat coach Stan Van Gundy turned down the opportunity to be the Pacers' next head coach.

“It’s true, I decided against it,” Van Gundy said when reached by telephone this afternoon. “The Pacers are a great organization. The best thing about the whole situation were the people. Larry (Bird), Donnie (Walsh) and (David) Morway are all great people.”

Van Gundy, who is under contract with the Heat until the end of next season, met with Pacers officials twice and told them he would make a decision by the middle of this week.

The Pacers have also interviewed Johnny Davis, Chuck Person and Los Angeles Lakers assistant coach Brian Shaw.</div>

    Oh, my bad. [IMG]

Anyways, Marc Iavoroni has said he's interested in the Grizzlies and Sonics jobs. Hopefully he considers us as well.

That's my top two as well (it has been for awhile if you look at the second post in this thread).

Gators, I've taught you well. You should feel honored to have such a great a teacher. [IMG]
