Holy crap I love this song! Sorry I had to make a new thread for this, but I just wanted to support our local bay area music artists (Track Runners). This is awesome if you like hip hop or rap music.

I was thinking the same thing. They have a myspace page too. I just checked it out and they are getting a lot of comments from Warriors' fans who heard the song on the Murph and Mac show (I'm assuming that's a morning show in Cali). Jazz playoff theme song for the Jazz would make sense, just like Utah being known for its blues and African American musical influence.

Hey that's quite good, I love the line "you call it a close game, we call it an ass kick" hahaha. In Phoenix we've had local radio stations make a few Suns songs over the past years ("S-O-C-K-S" comes to mind, its about Elliot Perry) but a real rapper making a song about a team is cool.

We do have the Nelly Furtado lyric "Hey is that the truth or are you talking trash; Is your game MVP like Steve Nash"

Or because they're very entertaining and could end up being one of the best Playoff runs of all-time

 

Up until this thread, every time I would see the "We Believe" slogan, the Red Hot Chili Peppers song would pop in my head. But that Trackrunners song is definitely the theme.
