Chargers release WR Reshaun Woods after trading Sammy Davis for him. Woods was like the 24th pick in the draft of 2004. Looks like we have the first bust of the 2004 draft. Woods went from catching 7 TDS in one game in college to catchin 7 passes his first year.
If I recall, the niners started #14 or thereabouts and kept trading down to eventually get Woods. It appears they did not trade down far enough.
Woods has talent. I'd rather see GB bring him in and release someone like Robert Ferguson. Too bad we aren't going to because of the "Cute" little contract Ferguson signed with when Sherman was GM. ekkk I still don't know what he saw in him.
If Woods had a veteran WR in front of him to teach him he would have done great. Kansas City needs more WRs so i expect them to try him out.
