<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Could there be signifcant changes this summer for a team that finished the regular-season 49-43, eight games better than the previous campaign, and became the first Bulls team to advance to the second round of the postseason since 1998?

''Maybe,'' Skiles said. ''John doesn't make any secret about it. He didn't last night after the game when we talked to the team about our goals. That's to get better and to be active and to try to improve the team and make difficult decisions on what you need to do with your roster. We certainly don't want to bust up any momentum we've created of getting better. But we don't want to come to a standstill. We want to get better.

''We'd like to add some interior scoring and length and athleticism. We also feel like our main guys have gotten a lot better and will continue to get better. When you're thinking about adding something, you never really know if that is already here and just not quite ready yet. That's where the tough judgments come in.''

Most players believe the team was better this season and will continue to improve even if no major moves are forthcoming.</div>

this works salary wise so i think that every team gets a pretty good deal considering their needs. all the years remaining that say 2 means they expire after next season so indiana still gets a good deal even though it doesnt look that great. memphis improves thier defense and their point gaurd position (along with thier draft pick which will be pretty good) indiana gets some good outside 3 point shooting and some veteran leadership (plus two expiring contracts) chicago gets teir desperatly needed inside force, plus JO is a top defender. And Houston gets thier PF in gasol which is a huge upgrade. so every team benefits from this trade, plus i can actually see this happening. so what do you bulls fans think.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">That the Bulls' No. 1 need hasn't changed all season means the weekend wasn't a suspenseful one.

"We'd like to add some interior scoring and length and athleticism," coach Scott Skiles said, echoing Paxson's comments from the first day of training camp in October 2006.

Paxson declined to include Luol Deng in substantive trade talks for Memphis forward-center Pau Gasol in February, meaning the need must be addressed via the NBA draft, trade or free agency.

"We need a big man, somebody we can rely on to score in the post and demand a double-team," guard Ben Gordon said. "That would free up guys on the perimeter and take a little pressure off us."</div>
