Fact - he is gunna improve his game I think to become a better post presence and not lingur on the perimiter. F/F - Garbo becomes an elite SF, and steps up his role more.
Fact. Bargnani is going to need around 30 minutes a night next year, and if the Raps don't get an upgrade over Humphries I'm guessing he'll be getting more minutes as well. It's not like Rasho was playing a substantial amount of minutes to begin with though. F/F - Colangelo is actually Jesus in disguise.
Fact - he turns water to wine, and 1 mill look like 10, he's amazing. F/F - Colangelo will bring in a PF better then humphries to score more,a nd give bosh some rest.
Fiction - I think humphries gives us great hustle and energy F/F - Juan Dixon will be gone soon in a trade
Fiction, he's performed allright for us, and he's cheap. F/F The Raptors will have a first rounder in the draft.
<div class="quote_poster">SoSoDef Wrote</div><div class="quote_post"> F/F The Raptors will have a first rounder in the draft.</div> I'll go with fact. This years draft is looking quite good and I wouldn't expect Colangelo to simply sit on the sidelines. There are a few teams around with multiple picks and may be looking to shop one. Plus we have Maurizio as a high level scout so might as well use him while we have him. He could easily find a job as a GM for another NBA team in the future. F/F - We get another unexpected signing from europe this off season (not through the draft).
Fact - Colangelo and Maurizio are always looking. I'm hopeing for a guy from spain named Rudy Fernandez, I think it is. He's really good, and he's good friends with Calderon and Garbo, so hopefully, we can get him. F/F - TJ Ford and Calderon avg. a combine 16 assits. per game.
Fact - He is just gonna keep getting better, and IMO make a run for MVP. F/F - The raptors might sign-and-trade mo pete for some future draft picks.
Fact - They sign and trade him to Atlanta with a max contract for a young talented SF/PF and 2 first round picks. Fact or Fiction: Colbert will come crawling back to the Raps.
Fact - he loves the raps, he needs them. F/F - The raptors win the atlantic regardless of wheather the nets have kidd-carter-jefferson or not.
Thought I'd revive this since things are kinda slow in the forum. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">F/F - The raptors win the atlantic regardless of wheather the nets have kidd-carter-jefferson or not.</div> Fact. We did it last year when the majority of the team was new, so chemistry can only increase and make us even better. I think that even with Boston getting Allen, and the Knicks getting Randolph we still manage to win the Atlantic. F/F: Kapono starts.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Iggy:</div><div class="quote_post">F/F: Kapono starts.</div> Fact. Kapono wouldn't have bolted Miami for a bench spot on one of the deepest teams in the league and Colangelo couldn't justify paying him that much if he didn't start. Plus, he just plain fits in well at that spot. He's really spread the floor and make our offensive sets run more smoothly. F/F: The Raptors make no more moves (Maceo Baston not included) up to training camp?
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">F/F: The Raptors make no more moves (Maceo Baston not included) up to training camp?</div> Fact The Raptors just don't have the cap room for it. I however, think that the most likely case is a trade, but even that is a long shot. F/F: Toronto will average more/or equal to 22 assists per game?
Fact. Adding Kapono will sure increase the assists across the board. You figure TJ is good for 9 assists, Jose for about 6, and 7 split amongst Bargs, Chris, Parker, Rasho and Garbo. 22 APG is very doable. F/F: TJ ends up in the top 3 in APG this season?
Fiction: Top 5 yes, but 3. With guys like Kidd,Nash, Williams, Paul. Gunna be hard F/F Bargnani averages 16/6/2 per game along with 1 block.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Master Shake:</div><div class="quote_post">F/F Bargnani averages 16/6/2 per game along with 1 block.</div> Fiction. I think those numbers will be close, but even though Bargnani's slotted into our starting centre spot, he's still our 3rd scoring option at best. I think he can average 6 rebounds, because he'll be closer to the basket more often (last year wasn't a good indicator of his rebounding ability, IMO). But I'm betting slightly under those numbers F/F: Jason Kapono could beat our shooting coach, Dave Hopla, in a 3 pt. competition.
Fact. I don't know how I'd justify this because I havn't even seen Dave Hopla shoot but I'm just going to say Fact to keep this going. F/F: Humphries gets around 20 MPG
Fact & Fiction: He is going to be competing with Baeston, so it could be split between them both F/F: Calderon is a candadit and top runner for most improved player
