I dont know how you expect to play well with the personal life effecting your game. You can't expect something that tragic to be blocked out and play an A+ game. It just doesn't happen.

Yes, Odom does have a contract, but the best owners, coaches, and GM's are the one's who treat their players with respect, sympathy, and care about them both professionally and at a personal level.

Let the man mourn. How can you punish the guy for feeling terrible about the loss of his child. Its just not right. He actually played pretty well considering all that happened to him this year.

I remember his son dying last offseason. Odom's been through a lot though: his mother died at age 12, his grandmother at age 24, and his 6-month-old son died less than a year ago. I've always rooted for Odom since he is a New Yorker, but now I have even more reasons to continue.

Odom has my greatest approval after all of this. I would love him to stay and get somebody else but if not i will always like him. I feel as he is a poor mans lebron.

Kobe4life you need a heart. How can you say all that? Basketball is for the love of the game. Im sure he loves his son more and would rather spend time with his son than for a game that he plays.
