The lottery is happening tomorrow, and teams future's will be decided for the next 10 to 15 years. I think something that's very interesting is that Phoenix could get a high pick in the deepest draft since 2003 via Atlanta. Imagine Brandan Wright or Yi Jianlian to go with Nash, Amare, Barbosa etc.

Hopefully, Atlanta will tank another season since next season the pick is not protected even if they get the top pick. But next years draft will not be nearly as deep as this years, so it's still not the best outcome for the Suns. This also potentially puts a clamp on any Marion trade rumors as the Suns won't have the Atlanta pick to package in a trade.
1. Portland 2. Seattle 3. Atlanta 4. Memphis 5. Boston 6. Milwaukee 7. Minnesota 8. Charlotte 9. Chicago (from New York) 10. Sacramento 11. Atlanta (from Indiana) 12. Philadelphia 13. New Orleans 14. LA Clippers
im glad that the suns didnt get a pick, for it would have make it even harder for my lakers. but god damn portland are going to be amazing to watch next season, all those young gunners, plus Oden/Durant, 5 years from now they could be the top team in the nba, thats if they get a better point.
Portland is in the West, the Lakers play 'em 3-4 times a year and could meet 'em in the Playoffs. Same with Seattle, that's why I was hoping the Celtics would get the top pick, so Oden would play in the East. I am looking forward to Blazer games now myself, however I don't think they'll be up-tempo and exciting, with Aldridge and Oden I think they'll play similar to San Antonio, thus could end up being a boring team, I don't see those 2 keeping up with Roy and the gang in any run & gun system. Their pace factor was 29th out of 30 teams; I hope Aldridge and Oden's defense creates fast break opprotunities for Roy, Sergio, Outlaw, Miles, etc. As for the point guard situation, I think Sergio Rodriguez is going to be a very good PG. I wanted so badly for the Suns to keep him, he didn't get a lot of playing time this year, hopefully we see more of him next year, I saw some tape on him before last year's draft, he can handle the rock.
