It took a vote of the ?Seniors Committee?, but John Madden is finally in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. This, in Madden?s 27th year of eligibility is something that I think he had coming all along. His .759 regular season record is the highest winning percentage among coaches with at least 100 wins. He is the third youngest head coach to reach 100 victories (Hallas & Lambeau), and never coached a RAIDER team to a losing record. I became a RAIDER fan during his tenure, and still love to relive the 1976 postseason highlights of smashing Pittsburg 24-7 in the AFC Championship game and the methodic dismantling of Minnesota (32-14) in Super Bowl XI. (sorry SF & VF). Debate over his commentating skills aside, he was a hell of a coach who was loved, respected, and defended by his players (and Mr. Davis). I say, Congratulation John Madden. And congratulations to Carson, Aikman, Moon, and White.
Congrats to Madden. Did they let him use a telestrator? If so, that might have topped Marino throwing a pass to Clayton last year.

I get more done (work and screw around) when I go to my office on Saturday.)
Congrats John. You see when the voters vote on the thing and then the thing gets voted on it goes through like that and then it's out and then BOOM I'm in the HOF
But you left out the part where you got to put it on the thing so that the people who handle the thing can look at the thing and then vote on the thing that lets you know whether the thing is really a thing as all or simply another way of looking at Brett who I think is the best quarterback ever and then taking that quarter back and saying WHAM... At least that's how we did it when I was with the RAIDERS
LOL excactly but that's why we love him. To people outside of football John is probably one of the most recognizable in the sport
I always like when Madden talks. His speech today was one of my favorites. I thought they all were good. Rayfield Wright might've stole the show but Madden gave a great speech. It was great too see Madden talk about his coaching career, rather than his announcing career and his video game. A different perspective on Madden and I liked it.
Interesting statistic about John Madden: Madden was 36-16-2 against other coaches he' went up against already enshrined in the Hall of Fame.
