    Dude.

Where are all the Celts fans?

There used to be tons of them on this board.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Gasol's future in a Griz uniform may be chief among the many conundrums the team faces during the June 28 draft.

Do they keep the former All-Star and continue to build around him? Do the Grizzlies trade the offensive dynamo and move toward a full-blown rebuilding plan?

Gasol requested a trade in January but seemed to back off that stance when the season ended. While acknowledging that he could still be traded, Gasol said he wants to remain a Grizzly.

    "I do," Gasol said.</div>

With Gasol staying in Memphis, it's likely that Yi Jianlian will be available for the Celtics, but Horford, the Grizzlies' new likely pick, will probably be off the board.

It also means that if the Hawks do opt to take Conley, then Brandan Wright will also be on the board. Wouldn't that be any consolation prize, knowing that you got the same player you would've gotten at #3?

The guy blew out one of his knees pretty much, his whole game was around his crazy athleticism. So he won't be the same player he was during the injury, it'll take him awhile, if ever, to become the great player he was becoming.

i think they should get brewer. lots of people are saying he has a basketball style of scottie pippen with his defense, and has the potential to be great. but no matter WHO they get, if paul pierce doesnt play like a leader, celtics will be in the top 5 for the draft lottery again next year and we will be having the same conversation. pierce can be amazing if he stays healthy. we have all seen how good he is. he just has to show results.

If they draft Brewer, where does that leave Gerald Green?

If the Celtics actually play to win, instead of playing for more ping pong balls, they should improve their win total significantly next season. There's too much talent on the roster for them to pin all their problems on the lottery.

if you get brewer right now then you mold him for now and he might even be able to play SF and green sg. have brewer play as 6th man for the 1st 2 or 3 years then once hes developed and ready move him to SF with green at SG and trade pierce for a pg/c or some combo like that. green and brewer would be an awesome combo.

True. The Celtics need to trade peirce, re-build. You have Jefferson and Green and Rondo, great young players. Trade Wally and Peirce. Get some good bench and possibly a starting PG.

Agreed. Pierce isn`t getting and younger and the Boston is just too young now. Blow them up and start fresh IMO.
