<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Georgetown juniors Jeff Green and Roy Hibbert are scheduled to announce their decisions on if they will pull out of the June 28 NBA Draft at a noon news conference today.

A source though says Hibbert, who is a projected lottery pick, will return for his senior season.

Hibbert has said his odds were 50-50 on returning to the team due to the stockpile of big men in this draft.

"Do I want to go eight through 14, or do I want to go top three next year?" Hibbert said in April.

"That does play a factor in my decision. . . . I wouldn't want to be at the end of a bench on an NBA team, not being able to develop and show what I can do, so another year here would be great, obviously.

There is no word though on the potential lottery pick guard Jeff Green but he has said in the past that there was a 70 percent chance he would return to the Hoyas next season.</div>

That's weak, he can go be a top 3 pick next year and end up on a bad team that is probably there because they couldn't develop their draft picks. If I was him, I'd rather end up on a team like Bulls, Hawks, Wizards, or Nets, where you could learn but play at the same time. The guy is a joke and won't be much in the NBA unless he gets on a slow pace team.....

You have a good point there, but I think another factor in his decision may be the chances of the Hoyas reaching the Final Four again. Jeff Green will be leaving for the NBA, but their draft class is one of the best in the country.

Its fair enough if you think about it, i mean college is such a great experience and if he came into the nba now, he would likely end up being sent to the d-league. he wants to develop his skills more because he has the potential to be a good center in the nba who can average 15 points a game, but not now, he does need more expirience and chance to learn how to be the best player he can be. he doesnt want to end up like kwame(in washington) or bynum where he sits at the end of the bench and doesnt get any better.

It is smart to go back, Plus if he stays, he can go higher in the draft, not to high becuase of OJ Mayo if he declares, or other guys, but higher.

He's the second best Center in the draft, you can't guarantee that he will be rated any higher next year. I think it's silly. So many teams really need a center I think someone might reach and he'd go top 6.

Man, now I know I'm getting old. I remember when guys used to get criticized for coming out early. Now they get ripped for wanting to go back to school and improve their game and draft position.

I think most of the negative feedback is coming from guys who don't appreciate the college game. For a college fan like myself, this is the best news I could've gotten all day. Watching Hibbert for another year at Georgetown will be a real treat, especially with Thabeet deciding to stay at UConn. That'll definitely be a matchup to keep an eye on next season.

I know when I said it, I want the best for him. I love it he's coming back to college, but damn, he could of been a top 10 pick for sure. You never know when players go back to college, injuries or down years can destroy a guys stock and I'd hate to see it happen to this guy.
