Those are amazing photos. The colors on some of those fish are unreal. There's also a group of fish I wouldn't want to come across if I were swimming. I always questioned why they spend so much time exploring other planets, when there's a whole other world right beneath us in the deep ocean.
The ocean's freakin scary. You never know what could brush up against your foot when you're swimming.
This is very cool. I seen something just like this (if not the same with a slightly different name) in France last year.
The spookfish is intense, the scaly dragonfish looks like it's from a movie. The dumbo octopus is just awesome.
I used to be really interested in this abysmal deep sea life. I was thinking about a career in it a couple years ago, I think it would be awesome to work with the submersibles and discover new life down there.

Those creatures are amazing though, hard to believe things like this live down there.

When I'm in the ocean, I feel like I'm at home. I could stay and explore for hours on end. I grasped that from an early age. No doubt I know my boundaries, but I just think it's so amazing and beautiful in things we don't see every day. It makes me appreciate it every day because I don't see it every day I guess.
wow, those are pretty cool. nice find. <div class="quote_poster">Riot Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I used to be really interested in this abysmal deep sea life. Very cool. I thought it was interesting that a lot of the pictures taken were of species that are still unknown. Just shows how much is unaccounted for at the bottom of the oceans. Some of them were pretty creepy looking. The unidentified anglerfish freaked me out a little bit when the picture loaded.
!!! thats so amazing, i agree i feel they shuold explore more down there then outerspace, that ancient shark they found was amazing too. and theres so many fish in the ocean. when i was in egpyt we went to the red sea and went on a boat and we sordof went snorkling, we had like the face mask and a breathing thing but we didnt go like extreme, it was soo amazing, there were so many fish it was unbelieveable, the shape sizes color, there was on fish that looked like a little kid took every color in crayon box and drew on it,it was real amazing
<div class="quote_poster">Detroit Madness Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Wouldn't want to **** with one of these. </div> Considering that its only 15 cm long (6 inches), I wouldn't worry about it very much. Unless its really poisonous.
