Sign and trade dude. These guys are up for contract extentions ( gordon Noch) thats how the deal works. Both of these guys will be making AT LEAST 5-6 a year.

<div class="quote_poster">michiganave17 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">did you read sign and trade with noch and Ben. their salaries will increase.</div> It would work and would help chicago alot. However, are the Bulls willin gto give up a great SG and a pick who can become a low post player, and a good on at that for short term gain?
<div class="quote_poster">michiganave17 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">did you read sign and trade with noch and Ben. their salaries will increase.</div> Not possible, Noc will be BYC (assuming he gets a 20% raise or more, which he will) and will be worth half his actual contract's value, or his current value, whichever is more. Ben isn't even a FA 'til next year and the same applies to him.

All this talk about Kobe is beside the point. If I'm Paxson, I'm working right now to try to fleece David Lee out of Isiah. Isiah was said to keep Lee on the bench cause he liked Frye so much... could probably get him to part with Lee.

The guy is a real winner and one of the most underrated players in the league right now. He's a double-double (10/10) guy every night and if he was seasoned right he could easily be a 20/10 power forward in short time.
Yeah we could probably trade Sweetney for Lee, 28th pick (or whatever they have now), their next years #1. Good ole Isiah.
<div class="quote_poster">michiganave17 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">didnt Noch gordon and Deng get drafted the same year?</div> Nocioni was signed as a free agent that year, wasn't in the draft.
The Bulls have been after Noce before he even signed with the team, but he couldn't because of his European contract to TAU. Pax got the deal done that year Gordon, Deng and Duhon were drafted.
i know a lot are not 4 getting him but im still for getting Randolph if we dont lose any core players. Im just trying to throw many ideas out here so bare with me. What if we start Sefolosha. B4 i get the Gordon doesnt want to come off the bench stuff that u read from an a non-true article and always believe them. Now the Lakers have no intention of trading Kobe. Once again a false rumor because nothing in the offseason has happened and yet another attempt by somebody to dismantle the team. Source: LA Times Paxson kindof even hinted about saying Gordon shouldnt get to comfortable about starting. Could this mean he invisions Hinrich and Sefolosha as our defensive starting guards? We know these 2 our great defensive players and if they can frustrate our opponents guards like Wade etc which has happened or atleast one of them, Gordon coming off the bench can really do his thing 4 the fact that if our opponent gets frustrated, it gets much easier for him to score and maybe his lack of defense might not show as much. (Im not saying Gordon is better coming off the bench but would be better for our team if he did). now that if we get Randolph, points wont be lost at the beginning of the game because we will likely have more points from our starters then last season. Also i think Gordon will really improve mostly once we get that post-player. The article about Randolph's high school days in that article probably werent even true for the fact that it was a Sam Smith article which no one ever should believe but when it is a trade that actually will help the Bulls Smith is always wrong. To me, a Duhon, #9, Khryapa, sign and trade of Allen, and 2nd rounders. Could get the job done. PG-Hinrich SG-Sefolosha SF-Deng PF-Randolph C-Wallace -Nocioni, Gordon, Thomas, Griffin, Brown Now that our team will have 5 guys on our team that can but probably only 2 will make the all-star team would be perfect and now everyone comes up with his high school records and all to say we shouldnt but dismantle our team for Kobe and even if we sign and trade Nocioni (a role player) and Gordon, 2 non-allstars players even work for Kobe? Well anyways im glad the Lakers say they have no intention of trading Kobe.
LOL I was screaming for this rotation change after the Pistons destroyed us in game 1. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting michiganave17:</div><div class="quote_post"> Skile shouls starting the second half with Gordon off the bench. Gordon cannot strt in this series. Coach has to bring him off the bench because his size is whats killing us right now. Hinrich Thabo Deng have to start from now on in this series. when Ben come in just give him the green light to do whatever. our bench suck right now we need him to make that sacrafice for this series.</div> That was a quote from the game 2 thread from me. so I agree with you there. If we make that simple adjustment Hinrich deng and thabo would be great together. then with BG off the bench he would own the game. BG is better off the bench. Personally I would like the Kobe trade, but I like the team in its current state because it just needs a tweak. we are just 1 piece from the NBA title. Im sick of hearing about the kobe trade and I want to see something happen. Personally I dont have any idea what we should do with the pick. So I have blind faith that Pax will make the right choice with it. But who knows who will slip to 9 in the draft.
<div class="quote_poster">michiganave17 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">LOL I was screaming for this rotation change after the Pistons destroyed us in game 1.</div> Skiles wanted Paxson to really fill like Gordon is the main reason we cant win because Skiles doesnt like Gordon lol.

With Pax choosing Noah, I think that a trade is in the play. I see Pax shopping Wallace this offseason. hes the highest paid player and if paired with Noch and/or gordon we could get a Randolph or bryant or Gasol. I think Noah fits in to the Wallace position on this team accept taller and younger. Hinrich Gordon Deng Randolph Noah Hinrich Bryant Deng Ty Noah Hinrich Gordon Deng Gasol Noah Im kind of liking that first line up But If I was coach I wouold go with this Hinrich/Duhon Thabo/Gordon Deng/Victor/griff Randoph/Ty/Allen Noah/ Maybe get maglore in the trade with portland
To tell everyone the truth I highly doubt we will pull off any trade for an all star player, it would just take too many pieces to make the contracts match, pieces we don't want to give up. I expect us to just take care of our own guys, resign Nocioni and then go after a player like Nick Collision or another second tier FA.
