    Kobe just said all this demand trade rumors are BS. He wants to retire as a Lakers.

    Jerry West's GM History w/ Memphis

    I agree, the Lakers should be after Sam Presti (San Antonio's assistant GM). He's the architect behind the Spurs "money-ball" and he's only 30 years old. The Sonics have already requested an interview with him, and I'm sure other teams are in line to get a shot at stealing him away from the Spurs.

    If West comes back, the Lakers will get some guys, but nobody huge. Hopefully they will improve enough to make the playoffs and go deep.
