First the high school highlights. I was getting some fries at Wendy's and the guy serving them said he was the guy reggie juked into oblivion, then, the burger flipper proceeded to also juke him out of his shoes.

Second the college highlights. It seemed to me he was 5-6 yards down field before he ever had threat of tackle in every highlight, and had tons of open space to make moves. Lets see if that happens in NFL.

    FUTURE BUST: Reggie Bush

Reggie's biggest NFL highlight is going to be the video of him signing his initial contract.

Get a good investment guy, Reggie! I wouldn't count of "future earnings" if I were you...

BF1: It's a highlight reel. Why would they show anything that didn't look spectacular? Not many highlight films from RB's show three-yard gains at the 45 yard line. [IMG]

It remains to be seen how many times he'll be able to get free downfield at the next level. Living is Southern California I saw plenty of his 'SC' games, and Reggie was the real deal at that level. As we all know, a lot of it comes down to blocking.

This s/b an interesting bit of trivia. Reggie's teammate & QB for awhile in H.S. was Alex Smith.

I watched the video again and I have to say, he looked almost super human in those high school videos. He was running so fast that it almost looked like they were speeding up the tape! That's not all that surprising, though. Our high school football team had and ran up against dominant players all the time, but none of them went on to do anything great.

At the college level is where his blocking came in. He still played great and seems to be a great cutback runner, but we'll see what happens at the NFL level. From what I've read, the New Orleans offensive line isn't all that much to brag about.

He's done it at every level and he'll do it in the NFL. Maybe nothing like this but like I said in another thread, I'm thinking he has a career similar to Marshall Faulk.

I could be wrong but I'm not going to doubt someone as good as Reggie Bush. Might be the best college football player of this decade thus far.

people are gonna throw around the word bust in his first couple years cause he isnt gonna have spectacular seasons i think once the Saints build a line up he'll be a pretty good back just not the one that everyone wants him to be

A good RB will always look like it's all blocking because that's what makes a RB great is using his blocks by being patient. Few guys are like Barry Sanders who can do it on there own and greatest talent is making people miss
