I thought Talledega Nights was absolute garbage, the only parts I laughed at was when he went crazy and thought he was on fire and when he got back into driving but was only doing like 20mph around the track. The rest of the movie was just stupid.
GARBAGE! Are you high on Crystal Meth? That movie was one of the funniest movies ever. Will Ferrell is a god amoung comidan actors. He is so funny. And actually that fire part wasn't that funny, becuase I saw it on TV during commcericals tons of times. Man, watch the movie again, you'll like it.
He does get repetitive after a while. I like most of his films, but you can only take the drunken-frat boy-screaming-idiot act to an extent. He'll fall off in a few years.
I enjoyed Talladega Nights, although I thought it was ruined a bit by all the hype. Anchorman will always be the high point in Ferrell's career.

Anchorman was hilirous, i think better then talladega. But, just watch it again. Maybe 3-4x, then you'll like it.
The first time I watched Old school, I laughed more than the first time I watched Anchorman. I found Talladega to be ok. I liked these parts: - he stabs a knife in his leg, and they try to get the knife out with another knife. - he tells Sasha Cohen that his plans to make currency for pets is stupid. - when he tries to downplay his ex-partner's new nickname, and then admits he really likes it.
Anchorman A+>Old School B>Tallageda Knights C>Zoolander C>Kicking and Screaming D- Some of Ferrell's movies are funnier the second time around. I thought Zoolander was retarded the first time I saw it, but it was pretty funny the second time around...same with Old School. Maybe because I was sober the first time I saw those movies.
