I thought Vspan's speed and fast pace mentality would have meshed perfectly with Adelman. That is, if Adelman can try to get his TOs down. I believe he would have had a great 2nd year.

Well...Vspan really needs to work on his jumpers. What will happen if opposing teams just let him shoot all day?

Please don't leave V-Span! I actually think he'd be an idiot if he left now because now is the perfect opportunity for him to prove himself under Adelman, who's a lot more intent on developing young talent.

Quitter, so much for the guy with fighting heart wanting to prove himself against the best. This kid just want to look good in front of his family not a kid with heart wanting to improve.

The guy's ego is too large. He shoots off to the media as a rookie for not playing, then when the perfect opportunity comes along with a new coach, he's thinking of going back to Greece? If he doesn't have the attitude to fight it out then let him go.

Good riddance, V-Span. The guy wasn't much anyway. A walking turnover.

Um, Tony Parkers not much of a jump shooter and he survives.

He was a rookie, what did you expect? Yao was a turnover machine his rookie year remember? The guy wants to play and is uncertain about his role next year. I really hope he sticks around.

Not much of a jump shooter? Havent you been watching this series against Utah? I've only seen him attack the basket on a couple of occasions, he's quite a capable jump shooter.

    What a wus.

He has a great chance to prove himself in front of the NBA. We also have a new coach who is likely to give him minutes. He has a great opportunity here in the NBA to shine. He'd be retarted to go back.

I don't base my opinion on a series, In general he is not a good jump shooter. His high field goal % is due to the fact that he leads the league in points in the paint by a guard. Hell in 05 he led the entire league in points in the paint. 06 looks very similiar.

Top 10 players with the most points in the paint:
Player Team Points in the paint
    Tony Parker San Antonio 514
    Shawn Marion Phoenix 496
    Tim Duncan San Antonio 490
    Dwyane Wade Miami 486
    LeBron James Cleveland 480
    Carmelo Anthony Denver 480
    Allen Iverson Philadelphia/Denver 468
    Pau Gasol Memphis 454
    Dwight Howard Orlando 398
    Elton Brand L.A. Clippers

It's not certain if he will get the PT he wants. In his eyes it makes more sense to go back, put yourself in his shoes it's obiously not about the $ seeing as to how he'll make more here but I think he really just feels more comfortable in his home country. Hopefully Adelman can asure him some steady PT and he'll stay.
