That would would honestly be a godsend, but not for Conley. I'd be thrilled to get rid of Randolph, but I'm not so sharp on losing Jack. I'm not so high on Conley, and there is a plethora of players I'd rather have than Conley. Hell, I'd rather pull the trigger on that trade, draft Durant, and then draft Jianlian. Aldridge Jianlian Durant Roy Rodriguez Now, that is one unbelievably talented team.
O hell no, drafting Jianlian at the 3 spot is just ridiculous, but then again, Conley is a real stretch at 3, and he's not worth Randolph and Jack.
Damn. Portland really wants the combo. Conley and Oden have been playing together in Middle School, AAU, High School, College, and now possibly the NBA. If I were Portland, I'd go for it, but I wouldn't put too much. If you're going to get one of the two, you have to get the combo. These guys together are going to be deadly, all they need is time to grow. If they end up playing together they could be as good as the Williams/Boozer combo.
To get Conoly from the Hawks lets say, Trade Randolph, Jack for Conloy and maybe Childress or something. You wanna make a guy like Oden happy.
I wouldn't mind trading Randolph to the Hawks, but I really am high on Jack and he will be a big part of our success. While I think Conley will be good as well, I would not give up that much for the #3 pick, I say pursue him, I really think the Hawks will take Brandon Wright at #3 and Acie Law at #11 and Conley could drop to the Bucks where I would try and deal with them. Either way I would love Conley, but for the right price. Also I don't think Oden will be angry and holdout by any means if we don't get Conley, he even said on the Oregonian that "it's great that they are trying to pursue him for me, but I know it will be real hard to try and get him."
You can't just trade Randolph and Jack straight up for the #3 pick though. Some other players have to be involved on Atlanta's behalf to make the deal work. One combination that fits is Zaza Pachulia, Speedy Claxton, and the pick for Randolph and Jack. That wouldn't be a bad deal for either team. I don't think Atlanta was even expecting to get a draft pick this year with the Suns holding the restricted rights to their pick, and besides, Jarrett Jack is just as good as any point guard outside of Mike Conley that you'll find in this year's draft. In fact, this deal would help Atlanta a lot more than Portland, but hey, if Portland's willing to give up Randolph's on-the-court contribution because of his off-the-court problems, then that's the prerogative.
Right Now, I think the Balzers should see where Conoly lands. Then try and swing a trade. Cause he can land on a team, where Portalnd can trade to get more then just him.

IMO, he's much, much more talented than Conley. His upside is ten fold that of Conley imo. I'm really a sucker for Yi, he's wowed me with the little that I've seen, and heard of him. And the way I see, I don't want Randolph anyway. I would be ecstatic if we could buy him out without it counting against our cap. So, the way I see it, we ship Jarret Jack out for the 3# overall pick in the draft, and as a plus side unload Randolph. So, I'd be pretty psyched if that could happen. edit- I checked it, and VC is obviously right. But I checked, and if Atlanta sends Speedy+Wright+3rd overall pick, and Portland just sends Randolph+Jack that works out perfectly. I'm sure that Atlanta would want to hold onto ZaZa, so they'd just ship out Lorenzen's expiring contract.
