I was watching a tape of an old all-star game, and Robinson walks right past Phil Jackson's outstretched hand and shakes hands with everyone else- completely snubs him. I think this may have been the 2000 game- not sure. Anyone else seen this?
I know Robinson and Shaq didnt get along, but did Jackson and Robinson have heat at the time?

Maybe something was said during the game and there was some problem. I assume Cliff, since his heat with Shaq, didn't respect Phill too much.

Maybe Something was said to David during, or before the Game. Most likeley since he didn't like Shaq too much, he has little or no respect for Phill.

Phil Jackson: "The Spurs 99 title doesn't count. It's a tainted title". I'd say that has a little somethin to do with it.[IMG] [IMG]

Yup, that's exactly what I was going to post. I think he also elluded to Robinson being a soft player.

Coming from a 16 year long Spurs fan:

DRob didn't shake his or anyone's hand due to the asterisk crap Phil preached about. Admittedly later saying if the Lakers won it in 99' there wouldn't be an asterisk yet failed to explain the difference of who won it or why.

Second, Shaq and Phil have always been on the Spurs ass. San Antonio has proven to be the only team in the NBA that could beat LA at any point. Irony has it that Fisher hit the .4 second shot couple years later then next season they change the rules so that can't happen again. (Basically cause a timed delay replay shows the shot wasn't legal) so the Lakers got theirs.

Can't say much for them since.

If what you say about them changing the rules a season later, it wouldn't make Fisher's shot illegal, it would have been legal when he took it.

Anyway what would not have been legal about it?

The clock was not started at delivery.. and honestly this is past settled and old news. Don't you watch the shot clock or game clock? Notice how often they f up? Thus the change of the rule a year later to accommodate the issue... old, old news.
