If he's around when the Warriors use their second pick, which by all accounts he will be, they should give a hard look at Trey Johnson, the 6-5 SG from Jackson State. He's a tremendously polished offensive player, and has been working in a system at Jackson State which didn't use strict playcalling, but instead operated a motion offense with precise passing and shooting. Second leading scorer in college hoops last year, and known for his tremendous work ethic. With the possible departures of Pietrus and/or Barnes, I would be thrilled to take a second round shot at this guy.

Good for the Warriors with 3 picks. They can get some quality players with those picks. So if Peitrus and Barnes leave, they can have fillers that can most likely produce more, and be more of an impact.

I'm starting to be less concerned with losing Pietrus/Barnes, especially considering you never know who/what you can land in the draft. Here's to hoping the # 36 or #46 pick is another Monta Ellis!!
While I'd welcome the addition of another tall ballhandler that can dribble drive penetrate and pass off and also shoot, I'm dying for Mullin to package something in this draft and get us an athletic rebounder or a big name power forward like Kevin Garnett/Jermaine O'neil/Pau Gasol or at worst a guy like Jamaal Magloire or younger Dale Davis. But yeah, another ballhandler would be great because I don't see us doing anything if Sjax and Baron fail to get inside and Jrich and Harrington are too easy to strip with the ball. Don't get me started about Pietrus/Fisher dribble drive... Ellis is all right, but needs work on his decision-making. I'll take a Brandon Roy or Supermanu or Brent Barry or a Joe Johnson or a Mike Miller if there is one in this draft. I like Diaw, but his free throw shooting sucks. Playmaker + good shooter + quickness is what we need more of

A bunch of 13 pt a game guys who MIGHT become good--might not. A Bird in the hand thing? Late.....Jason Smith,Nick Fazekas,Herbert Hill are guys who....SCORE....REBOUND...do NOT require a trade up. Deal Monta and ? for Josh Smith? Young..long future...D...Rebounds. If we trade J Rich for...whatever....THEN I'd consider a wing SF/SG with Morris Almond or Dominic McGuire the options. Trey Johnson did not impress me as real efficient. If we've covered the rebounder/PF needs-then we may try Zabian Dowdell of Va Tech,a combo G who's special at stepping up under pressure-and who did well at the ACC level. Reggie Williams of VMI scored as well as Trey....might also be a legit sleeper.
Well, I will tell you the truth, I have never seen this guy play before. Though the way you put it he seems like he would be a pretty player for us and then take Sean Williams in the second round and Josh McRoberts as our first. Though Hill might be a very good fit onto our team. Josh McRoberts at #18
