Ive been watching some tapes of old games. NBA on NBC was great, especially with Costas hosting Showtime. Bring back Marv and Matt(or Czar), Costas, Vescey, and Doc. Walton, Snapper, and Gumble were great too. Also, bring back the old format - graphics, music, everything. Near the end they changed up the format and it kinda sucked, especially in 01-02. Ah the memories.

ABC is horrible. I agree with everyone about the Pussycat Dolls. Like Right Now what? What are you trying to tell me? Right Now what happens right now? Plus the commentators are crap, and are so biased toward every other team except the Spurs, Suns and Lakers. All they talk about. Steve Nash, amazing, so good. His 4 assists tonight show you he can do the little things. and how the Spurs are so amazing at everything.
Ditto everything, plus I'd like to add that I really, really, really hate that cross-court sweeping camera angle they use now. You can't see hardly anything and what you can see is all funky and distorted from the angle. Every person I've watched a game with has agreed, it's terrible. Bring back NBA on NBC!!

NBA on ABC is trash. The commentating is stale. The music and intros are horrible. TNT just kills them in every aspect of broadcasting, and NBC would have killed TNT today. NBC made basketball fans. ESPN turns many away.
NBA on NBC was so much better, but don't forget, the NBA in general was much better back then also. But ABCs coverage is terrible. Its mad boring.
the NBA on NBC was the best. I especially remember it because NBC got all the finals that I saw with the Jordan Era. I would love to see it come back to NBC, but unfortuantely I think the TV system is different. I am not sure, but I think all of the major stations (CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX) cycle through these things. I am not sure but I think each of them get it for a few years, then the next station gets it, but I may be wrong. NBC really lucked out though, they got most, if not all, of the Jordan finals.
