You guys are tripping, Kobe is NOT going to the West, WHY?! Why in the hell would he go to another team right now who ISN'T a contender. These trade scenarios just wouldn't work for what Kobe wants, which is a contender RIGHT NOW.

There is so much damn competition right now, especially with #1 and #2 picks going to Portland and Seattle.

HE is for SURE going to the East coast, as that is his best chance to win a title so he doesn't have to worry about the stacked West coast.

Chicago is a possibility right now, not sure about others.

However, if Kobe got traded to Cleveland and played for LeBron that would be unbelievably amazing.

According to Kobe 'i'd go play at Pluto if i had to' ... so destination doesn't matter, but i'm sure he's just saying that out of anger

He's saying he doesn't care where he goes, as long as he goes to a Contender and gets the hell out of L.A.

I think the Lakers should get Vince Carter and then pull for a Chicago trade.

Jordan retired from the game after the Bulls decided to rebuild and not allow his team to defend their title.

I'm surprised at this, but Kobe is not going to the West unless the Suns give up a lot to get him. Chicago, wow I would love Kobe to come here, we have a lot to work with, so Paxson let's do it. As long as we hold on to Capt Kirk, Deng (Thabo?). Gordon would have to be involved, #9 pick and whatever else, wouldn't mind letting go of Tyrus...

KG doesn't even have a Lamar, he has freaking Mike James and still is keeping his mouth shut, what a guy. I don't know about how Kobe is handling this, the Lakers are going to be screwed if they HAVE to trade Kobe. IF MJ stayed, Chicago would have not rebuild, they would have kept Jackson, Pippen. MJ is the greatest dude, he would not have let the Bulls slip from contending. The new Airness, now maybe the 24 on the Bulls? A number up, but not a better team player and overall character. MJ still the best.

btw it would suck to be this "insider" id be scared as hell...

No, Jordan left because Jerry Krause wanted to end their run and begin the rebuilding and not have Chicago suffer the same fate the Celtics endure when Bird and McHale retired. Jordan wanted a chance to bring everyone back for one last run, but when they told him no, he retired.

KG is a different kind of man than Kobe. Verbally, he's passive. Verbally...Kobe Bryant is aggressive. Does KG want out? I'm sure 99% of basketball fans know that he wants out, he just won't come out and say it. I think if this Kobe situations works out for Kobe and he is traded to a contender, then KG might come out and ask for a trade.
