<div class="quote_poster">Mamba Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">KG is a different kind of man than Kobe. Verbally, he's passive. Verbally...Kobe Bryant is aggressive. Does KG want out? I'm sure 99% of basketball fans know that he wants out, he just won't come out and say it. I think if this Kobe situations works out for Kobe and he is traded to a contender, then KG might come out and ask for a trade.</div> No KG won't, and it has to do with his upbringing. Minnesota basically gave him a second chance at life, and it's the underlying reason he won't demand to be traded.
Interesting trade scenario here with both Chicago and Lakers getting benefit. http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/trad...0&teams=13~13~4 Here one with JO http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/trad...&teams=13~11~11
<div class="quote_poster">The Legend Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">As i have stated before what about Philly? How do you think that might work.</div> Kobe to Philly would be a dream come true, since the Sixers are my second favorite team. But considering how the Sixers are rebuilding, and going young, I don't see how Kobe would be any better off in a Sixers uniform, rather than a Lakers uniform
The best bet right now is Chicago. I don't see how Kobe will go to Portland when he just said he wants to win championships.
Kobe isn't going west if he is traded (which I highly doubt he is). The top teams from the East I can imagine getting him are Chicago, Toronto, Atlanta, and Milwaukee. Chicago has Hinrich, Deng, Gordon, Nocini, 9th pick to work with. I wolud imagine the deal would be something like Gordon, Deng and the 9 but Hinrich, Deng, and the 9 makes more sense financially and from the Lakers POV. Toronto has Ford, Bargnani, Mo Pete, and picks to deal as well a a bunch of other decent role players. I think Bargnani is a lock to be in a trade for Kobe because Toronto is giving up Bosh and hes a good young big which is what the Lakers will be looking for. Atlanta is being largely overlooked but if theres a team that would be motivated and capable of getting him its ATL. They're surely looking for a way to get fans in the seats and Kobe would instantly solve that problem. They have the pieces too with Marvin Williams, Josh Smith, Josh Childress, Shelden Williams, Joe Johnson even and the #3 overall pick (Brandan Wright, who will be a franchise big). Milwaukee is also being overlooked but they've got more than enough assets to get Kobe. They could exchange Kobe with Michael Redd and also give the L's Mo Williams, Earl Boykins, or Charlie Villanueva, and they've got the 6th overall pick in the draft this season. Doesn't make much sense for any of the parties involved to trade Bogut but its possible depending on how much Milwaukee likes him and who they think they can get with their 6 pick.
To Chicago (As i have stated before): for Nochnoi, Gordonn, Hinrich, and #9 I'm loving this trade. Imagine a Kobe- Deng- Wallace core in the east. The Lakers too will benifit, Hinrich, Gordon, Nochnoi, Odom, Bynum/ Kwame. That dosen't sound bad.
Bulls won't give you Hinrich and Nocioni with Gordon, believe me that you don't know anything about that organization. I don't think Chicago is a likely scenario because the Bulls will not offer enough to grab Kobe Bryant from the Lakers. Giving up those three is basically tearing apart what has been focused around for years now and has been the main focus of Pax and Skiles. Especially the Bulls' captain, Kirk Hinrich. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">No other choice It's never easy to see Kobe Bryant's side in these things, in part because there is always a thing with this guy. It seems everything ends in a contentious point as he polarizes fans and pulverizes relationships. So now he is asking for a trade from the Los Angeles Lakers, telling ESPN Radio, "I would like to be traded, yeah. Tough as it is to come to that conclusion there's no other alternative, you know?" There never is an alternative with Bryant, who always seems to be making his own bed and then complaining about it. The current plight of the Lakers is no different. He's no innocent victim here. But here is the issue with Kobe: As bad as he is at making these demands, as poorly as he always comes across and as skeptical as he makes everyone, what is the alternative? Bryant hasn't said anything in the last few days that every Lakers fan hasn't said 100 times. He's wished Jerry West was still running things, he's wondered what Mitch Kupchak is doing, and he's begged for a better supporting cast so his prime and this golden franchise don't waste away in mediocrity.</div> <div align="center">Source: Yahoo! So it's official: Kobe wants out? How about Kobe for Jermaine O'Neal? They both want to be traded and Jermaine gets his LA wish. I doubt Kobe would want to go to Chicago. Wouldn't he just live under Jordan's shadow? New York is interesting. Kobe himself said he was close to signing with them in the summer. He would also be a huge star in New York and assume the benefits of his various endorsements if he is with the Knicks. Steve Francis is expiring in 2 years and the Knicks have some attractive young players, especially in David Lee.
That'd work if O'Neal is packaged with another player to fill in the cap space. Not sure if the lakers fans would be all too happy though because I wouldn't be.
Kobe would never waive his clause for that. Kobe wants to go to a team that he can help contend. Chicago would fork over Gordon, Nocioni and fillers leaving intact their core of Hinrich, Deng, and Wallace. Hinrich Kobe Deng ??? Wallace LA is going to want people to build around for the future, that is why trading with Chicago is ideal. Is there anyway SA would fork over Tony Parker in a deal? Imagine Kobe and Duncan.
Chicago is the best destination place for Kobe "IF" he is trade. Ben Gorden, Deng, PJ Brown, #9 is enough for the Lakers. Lakers got an expiring contrast in PJ. PJ and Kwame will come off the book, that is a huge cap relief if they decide to build for the future. In fact, that even help them speeding up their rebuilding. They also have a young Ben Gorden, an exciting score to please the fans, and Deng is will be a allstar in this league. Also don't get the #9 in a very deep draft. Lakers received a lot of talent to work with, again if they decide to build for the future. As for the Bulls, a core of Hinrich, Kobe, Ben Wallace, Nocioni, Tyrus Thomas are definitely a championship potential. But they lack the size in the front. Ben Wallace and Mike Sweetney is an undersizing center, so they need to acquire a big or trade for a big. Brendon Haywood and Magloire is the right answer for them.
Gordon and Nocioni with fillers would be a nice perspective and a more realistic trade situation. I just don't know about Paxson because he's nuts on giving up any of his "core four." I don't know if he'd be willing to give up Gordon and Nocioni for anyone, but for Bryant he'd have a lot of heat from the fans and media here and likely globally if he passed on that. Time will tell, but I'd be open to it, though I really don't want to lose Nocioni. <div class="quote_poster">kobe4life Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Ben Gorden, Deng, PJ Brown, #9 is enough for the Lakers.</div> You will never see Deng and Gordon packaged together.
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/trad...=24~13~13~13~13 God, that is one way I could actually root for San Antonio. With that core of Manu, Kobe, and Duncan they could easily get people to sign to fill in the holes.

If they are trying to rebuild they should go for Chicago. Personally, i would hate Kobe to to the Spurs. I hate the Spurs.
Everything I've read has said that Kirk and Deng are the only players that Paxon will not give up for anyone. That leaves a plethora of talent for the Lakers to pick from. You obviously ask for Gordon (approx. 4 mil), Nocioni S&T (approx 9 mill), the number 9 and another filler. Even if they don't include the #9, it's still a lot of young talent for the Lakers. They could use the 9 pick to draft a solid big and the 19 pick to draft for a PG Farmar Gordon Nocioni Odom Bynum Chicago would put out Hinrich Kobe Deng Thomas Wallace
