From a StarTrib article on the Vikings potential QB problems... <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Vikings' mysterious, mute and amorphous brain trust decided to enter the 2006 season with a 37-year-old quarterback as their starter. Brad Johnson plays the most important and difficult position on the team, and he's smart and accurate enough to fare well in Childress' (Mid)West Coast Offense. If he gets hurt, though -- and most NFL quarterbacks, regardless of age, get hurt, unless they avoid injury by throwing 29 interceptions and running away from contact, not that we're thinking of anyone in particular -- the Vikings will have to turn to the second-most important position on their roster.</div> http://www.startribune.com/150/story/603109.html
Ouch! The season opener must be getting close. The Vikes and Pack don't even play each other until after the mid-point in the season. Let the war of words begin.

NFC North fans have been waiting for 14 years for a chance to FINALLY be able to bash the Pack. Enjoy it while it lasts...
I thought the Vikes would be happy to have a QB throw that many picks. It would mean he actually played a full season. Daunte was on his way last year till he mailed it in

Your goggles may be strapped on too tightly unless you are referring to a losing season. At that point I bow out... :surrender:

Also, farve has never done this: 16 16 548 379 69.2 4717 8.61 39 11 46/238 63 18 110.9 Farve's Best 16 16 570 359 63.0 4413 7.74 38 13 33/217 59 5 99.5 6% less completion % .8 less yards and attempt 1 Less Td 2 more Ints 4 less plays of 20 or more yards 13 less plays of 40 or more yards 10 pts of QB rating 300 less yards. Plus, Daunte isnt a cheater. So his stats are legit
I'll admit Daunte's smart. Whenever it looks like an int he fumbles. You forgot to post his record for that

Have fun living with that. Pepper turns it over less

I realize there is learning curve to game, and that QBs make more turnovers early in their career than later. Until they are washed up, like farve is now
Just remember stats are like cheerleaders they'll show you a lot but not everything. When it came down to Pep just hasn't become a leader yet. I do like him and expect him to do well with the phins. He just couldn't handle the mess Moss brought in. The highs were great but when things went sour they really went sour

If Moss didn't get the ball early he mailed it in and then Pep couldn't gain control to rally the troops. I will admit Favre's pbroblem is once he's thrown 2 picks you know 2 more are coming so I guess they are knida the same for different reasons
