The Cs' website says that he's still on the team, so will they end up buying out his contract? If he's still under contract he could be used as trade bait, that's if a team is still interested in him (not likely).

He's under contract for another year. They're going to trade him or package him in another deal, and if they can't, he'll get cut.

He'll likely just be waived. I can't see any other teams in need of a point guard with no jump shot, discipline, or defensive skills.

Someone will sign him. I can't imagine him not being in the NBA simply because he got in some trouble. I mean seriously, Ron Artest, Latrell Spreewell, Stephen Jackson, Quantel Woods...all those guys have gotten in trouble and they're still here. Actually....is Q.W. in the league?

Actually, only Jackson and Artest are in the league. And they are both actually good. Sebastian Telfair is a bust.

His point is that all of those players were given second chances after getting into similar trouble.

Well, he said they're still here. I know what he meant I was just clarifying it.

People tend to be lenient on you when your worth something to them. Bassy is an atrocious NBA player. As such, he will not easily be forgiven. Who wants to take a chance on a trouble maker who's not even a baller?
