I dont think the Pacers have anythig to offer bt Jermaine. Plus Kobe wouldnt want to play there. Kobe plus GS leftovers equals a team worse then the 07 lakers.

The rumor is that Jermaine O'Neal is coming to Los Angeles to appease Kobe. You got it mixed up.

I don't think it's for Kobe, supposedly Phil told Kobe to calm down because the Lakers were in serious discussion to get Jermaine...doubt it though, this is Peter Vecsey. Although, he was recently right when he said Kobe would ask for a trade.

    Okay that changes things.

But who do you trade to match the money?

    It would have to be

    Odem and Brown

Unless they want mihm in a sign and trade.

What in the heck would the lakers lineup look like besides Kobe and JO?

threr would be no bench. How do the Pacers benifit? I dont get it

Jermaine O'Neal to the Lakers is extremely doubtful. Indiana would want Bynum and Odom and some picks. I would give up those guys, but Kupchuk wouldn't IMO. Bynum was Dr. Buss's bright idea, and to me, will take a while to pan out. SO trade him if you can, becuase his value, unless he just amazes, won't go up very high.

Bynum wasn't Dr. Buss pick, it was Jim Buss'.

How is it highly unlikely? Jermaine's stock isn't that high, it won't take both Odom and Bynum to get him...although I'm afraid L.A. might give that up just to make Kobe calm down and get Phil off of their backs, too.

Sorry, my bad, I heard Buss, and I didn't think Jim[IMG] I say LA, doesn't necessarily give in to Kobe. I say, sit him down, ask him. "Do you really want to leave, becuase this organization is ready to re-build and head into a direction they may or may not involve you, your choice" and see how he responds.

If he wants out, send him out for young guys and RE-BUILD!

The pacers arent going to just take odem, plus the Salaries have to match up. its going to be JO for 2 players. I dont understand why the pacers would do it tho?

Well, yes our offer isn't good...but are there better offers out there for Odom? Odom, Kwame and our 19 pick? I don't mind giving up Bynum though...I just think it's too much. I would give up Bynum if we could get a decent player back...Dunleavy, Marquis (God, I'd love him), or Murphy.

I heard that Odom and Radman will do but the Pacers don't trust Radman anymore after his accident. So they will want Odom and Bynum and i think 19th pick. I agree with some people it's to much so hoping they either trade Odom or Bynum with fillers.

It won't load up because the site is over loaded right now.

Basically, it's a report by Peter Vecsey that says Jermaine to L.A. is all but done and it should be announced as soon as possible. This is also the reason why Kobe backed down from his trade me now talks, because Jackson talked him about acquiring Jermaine and how likely it is.

That seems interesting, too bad it's Peter Vecsey reporting this, because it actually got me pretty excited at first...

Anyways, if a trade goes down, it'll probably be Odom + Bynum + 1st round pick for O'Neal + Tinsley??

Salary reasons you would have to include Kwame if you get anyone other than JO back.

Well then we add Kwame. No big loss considering he'll probably miss another 50 games this season, before returning and playing like crap, and then getting injured yet again

Were going to have to sign Mihm since it looks like are Centers are going to Indiana.

Overpaying yeah Odom and Bynum already to much plus 1st rounder that seems a lot but seem okay since we get PG and JO.
