I hate playing the what if game but why couldn't T-Mac and Kobe time these things a little bit better huh? T-Mac and Shaq would be able to win a ring or two in LA and Kobe would be doing fine with Dwight.

I watched a Laker insider talk about a possible New York trade. He said, there is no way that the Lakers would want any of the Knicks. I really do not think he will go to the Knicks. But i wouldn't mind getting David Lee and Frye, Franics, thier pick and some fillers.

Actually if Kobe says he want's to go to NYK they will be able only trade him there. It's in his trade clause something like that he chooses where he wants to go not them.

Not entirely correct. What Kobe has is a no-trade clause and he can opt out in 2 years. These are his bargaining chips for dictating where he'd like to go.

No... Its a Kobe- Curry- Marbury core. That does seem scary.[IMG]
But i really do not want Kobe to to go to New York. Also i really do not think he would want to go there. He prefers Philly or Chicago.

Why would Kobe want to go to a team that is doing nothing like the Lakers might as well stay in LA.

If Kobe wants to be traded there, would the Lakers hate a David Lee/Jamal Crawford plus picks package? Lee-Bynum-Odom-Crawford-Farmar is a better starting 5 than what they have now.

Thank you.The Knicks are way worse than the Lakers they have a bad GM and probably wouldn't have any help . So LA is way better than NY.

Why??Did they even make the playoffs this seaon how long have they been in the playoffs. What kind of help is there in NY that Kobe could take that team to the playoffs if there going to give up mostly there good players for Kobe in the trade.

New York thinks every player wants to play for them. Why would the Knicks want Kobe when LeBron is going to play for them soon? [IMG]

    1. Injuries are the reason we weren't in the playoffs. When we were healthy we had a 7-8th seed.

    2. Whoever the Knicks give up, it won't be Curry and Marbury.

    3. Kobe, Curry, and Marbury will be the best 3-man tandem in the league and easily a playoff contender.

It's not like there isn't any substance to this rumor. In February, Kobe said:
    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Kobe Bryant:</div><div class="quote_post">
“The reason why I even was interested in taking that meeting was because of this city,” the 28-year-old Bryant said in an interview Tuesday morning. “Because I always loved this city. Always. Ever since I came here, growing up in Philadelphia, there’s always so much energy and so much buzz in this city. How passionate they are about basketball, how knowledgeable they are about basketball.”

Bryant, a nine-time All-Star, excitedly ticked off the names of the Knicks legends Walt Frazier, Willis Reed, Earl Monroe and Dave DeBusschere and said, “I just wanted to play here so bad.”

“I know what it’s like to have a team here that’s successful and how the city rallies around it,” he said. “So I was very interested. And if they had more cap flexibility, it’d definitely be a place where I would end up. I might have picked the Knicks.”</div>

Dude, you have arguable the worst GM in the league and are already guard-heavy. Kobe would push you guys into the playoffs, but you wouldn't be championship contenders.
