Kurt Rambis is the front runner to get the job in Sacramento. Could he be the man pushing the Kings to make a play and offer Artest in a sign and trade. Every coach on our staff loves Luke, and from what I remember, Rambis is a huge Walton fan. Interesting to think about. This is another trade that I see very likely if Rambis does indeed get that job.
Well, if Rambis helps us get Artest, as much as I like him as a possible coach for the future, I say let him go!
I love kurt, but right now he hasn’t yet established the backbone to coach a guy like Artest, so I could actually see him getting shipped off , im just not convinced to the rival lakers
I always thought Kurt Rambis will be the Lakers future coach. But i guess that won't happen. I hope he gets us Artest and hope he prepares to lose against the Lakers.

The only three players I'd take for Walton are Bibby, Artest or Brad Miller...and I don't think they'd trade Miller or Bibby for Walton.
I pesonally want to just sign Artest and a decent PG after we trade up for JO. I really don't care if we get Camby as stated in the Camby thread. Don't get me wrong, i would love to acquire Camby, but it wouldn't be a loss to me.
<div class="quote_poster">Mamba Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">We can't sign for Artest... We've got to trade for him...</div> Ya, when I said that, i meant Sign and Trade Luke, and sign a decent PG. I put the PG and the Artest together accidently.
