I find it hard to believe that it's just a coincidence that he's buying property in L.A. the one season where he is most likely to get traded and the Lakers, who are in L.A., is his most likely destination.
The real rumor: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">From Indiana news: Henry Wolford of WTHR channel 13 reported tonight that JO has bought a home in the LA area and that Odom is expecting to be traded here:</div> I wonder if he moved in next to KG, Baron, and Artest? I don't believe this at all. The guy has 24 posts, doesn't mention his source, just this....I smell bs. But I do believe JO is in the market http://www.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=668199
<div class="quote_poster">Mamba Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Kobe Bryant just demanded another trade on am 570.</div> Scared me for a sec. lol. But Jermaine O'Neal buying a house here doesn't really mean anything, Kevin Garnett has a house in Malibu, and he plays all the way over at Minnesota. Either way though, it's interesting to think about. Hopefully it's true
This rumor just got some backbone to it! <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">There's a new coach in town and he's promised to take the Pacers to the playoffs next season... but will he do it with the Pacers star player, Jermaine O'Neal? JO looks like a kid who lives down the street from me, and he's 12. anyway can someone photoshop those pics so its jo in a lakers uni
Well it certainly makes it easier for JO to make an adjustment to living in LA considering he already has a house here. I'd say its good news for the Lakers.
Well like Brian said Garnett has a house too in Malibu and that house ain't close to Minnesota. But Oneal IMO is coming to Lakers and this deal seems to have starter sooner than rumored.
I've always loved this picture, shows so much emotion: I used to rock a sig and avy combo with this picture. Yeah Garnett has a house in L.A., as do many NBA players. I just find it awkward that a source is saying that Jermaine actually bought a house in L.A. just six weeks ago.
