Recently heard that The Nuggets laughed at the Lakers when they called and said Kwame for Camby.Well i guess where gonna keep Kwame unless we trade him for Artest.Who wouldn't laugh if they were offer Kwame for a guy like Camby. Who most consecutive games is 28, it does kind of scare me.
<div class="quote_poster">Mamba Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">The Nuggets supposedly laughed at us. I'm glad they did, It goes to show that we're not going to get anybody notable without letting go of Odom, Bynum, Farmar, and/or our pick.</div> This doesn’t surprise. If i was an owner and my GM traded marcus camby for kwame brown I would fire him on the spot and im pretty sure no one else would ever hire him again. Alot of the trades on here that people are coming up with are quite ridiculous. First of as far as signing free agents the lakers can only sign free agents to the mid level exception 30 mil for six years the league wont allow it it was part of the the deal that was made during the lockout season. So billups and rashard lewis are all FA that the lakers have no possibility of getting. A trade for o’neal would almost certainly have to include both bynum and Odom. The pacers are not going to trade and all star PF for a future potential star in bynum. And they are not going give up a 7 footer without getting a 7 footer in return, The trade option for the lakers are pretty bleak. I dont think there are many teams that will trade for brown but some might because his contract is expiring. so heres what i see happeing this off season. THe lakers will probably trade odom and bynum for Oneal they will probably try to see if they can sign Steve Blake for the MLE they will resign walton and mihm. They should keep their draft pick.
Actually, we could sign and trade for Billups or Lewis, so we can get them. However, rumors are that Indiana has backed off of wanting Odom and want a package of Bynum, Kwame, our pick.

Get it in writing, submit, and close the deal. Kobe+JO+Odom ... DONE! Come on front office!

Wow, Odom, O'Neal and Bryant would be pretty good. Oh and Artest for Luke as well. Kobe, Artest, Odom and O'Neal.

Plus, if we do that, we may not even need to go after Artest, and if we do, than the lineup is that much stronger anyways.
