Ok, maybe not, but the whole offense (steve smith) is out, so pretty much a forfeit. i know he singlehanded beat bears in playoffs last year.
Smith is not the entire offense bro, Jake Delhomme is a pretty darn good QB, much better than anything the bears have shown to this point at least, they also have a great O-line, running back is questionable but they have at least one proven back, can he stay healthy is the question, DeAngello williams and Eric Shelton both have promise but neither has proven anything yet.
If Delholme were to get under center, sqaut and take a shit, Steve Smith would catch the turd and run for a TD....he was a one man wrecking crew last year....it was one of the most ridiculous things ive even seen in the NFL....

Line is good cuz they only need to protect one second before smith is open. Deangelo may be good. We will see. but, mostly all steve smith all the time.

Outside of Smith though there is no real playmaker on that team.

Just easier sometimes to answer sarcastic question with serious answer. btw, he did same for orton he did for delhome. Raised him up several levels
I got one player for you, Drew Carter, he is 6'4 and has faster straightline speed than smith. Colbert is expected to be looking a whole lot better because his ankle which bothered him is healed. Panthers will win the game, i wish TKO was back to bet, he still owes me when he comes back cuz the panthers one last season agains the bills
I love Drew Carter, im a Die Hard OSU fan, but im not sure if he can be any more than a number 3 guy in this league, luckily thats all he has to be this season with Keyshawn comin to town. Drew is an athletic monster if only he could peace together the mental aspect of the game, he did show some flashes last year though, hopefully he becomes good enough to at least make it as a number 2 guy in the NFL.

That is the proper term to describe those players mentioned
I woulden't call them scrubs exactly, Colbert has def dissapointed, Carter has not really solidified himself as a dominant figure though.
you named decent role players those guys arent anywhere near impact WRs only one person mentioned how the Panthers brought in Keyshawn to help out their 1 man offense.... but i was big last year in going against the Panthers because all someone had to do was cover Steve Smith the Giants and Chicago did a shitty job and then the Seahawks finally did something about it and the Panthers were easily beaten. Its really a one man offense they were lucky that the Bears and Giants had shitty defensive plans those games in teh playoffs cause i thought they were losin to the Giants but the Giants decided to cover him with thier 3rd string CB... real smart and teh Bears decided to gameplan like he was not thier whole offense.... mistake and then the Seahawks gameplanned around him and they won.
