Rasheed would bring that fire that we're missing, he'd also be an enforcer for when people take cheap shots at Kobe. I wouldn't cough up a lot for him though, maybe a second rounder and a filler, but he's not that valuable anymore.

I swear most of the posts you guys make are so childlish to the point where you start believing that Lakers will get 5 all star line up. Come on if you get O'neal thats it !!! You won't get any other good player as simple as that goes. So be happy instead of wishing to put MJ and Kobe on the same team.</div>Seriously, what is the point of coming in here with crap like this? If you're going to make these kind of comments, stay out. Not a single member has posted anything like that in this thread. The biggest thing's we've looked in to were acquiring JO and Artest. We know if we get JO, there's no way we get Billups or Camby, nonetheless both.

Anyways recently heard that Billups is going to stay wich means were going to have to sign a decent point guard. How about Steve Blake or Mo Williams?
I think Billups would be attainable and would be a good pickup for the Lakers. I do think he will demand at least 9-10 mil a year though. I really want my Magic to try to get him if we can get him for about 30-35 mil for 3-4 years. If we get him, you guys interested in Jameer Nelson?
We're interested in anything better than Smush Parker and Sasha Vujacic Does Billups want to play with Kobe or Dwight?
<div class="quote_poster">Mamba Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">We're interested in anything better than Smush Parker and Sasha Vujacic Does Billups want to play with Kobe or Dwight?</div> I think he'd go to Orlando. With all the hype we are getting he might want to test the hype of Billy Donovan. We are going to be in the spot light all year(although Lakers always are). The ownership is actually starting to care about winning in Orlando and lastly why would you not want to play with a 21 year old blossoming superstar big man? Don't forget he saw Dwight put up 29 and 17 against their front line in Dwight's first ever elimination game. Not to mention we have cap space this offseason and wouldn't have to give up much to get him(assuming he says he wants to go to Orlando). Honestly with Chauncey Billups, the Magic are contenders in the East next year, the Lakers with Chauncey Billups, not so much contenders in the West, IMO. I think if he leaves it's likely to go to Orlando(mainly because of my bias, but still Orlando is an amazing opportunity, IMO) <div class="quote_poster">lakersfan171 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Don't think so he said he wanted to stay with the Pistons saw it on ESPN.</div> So it must be true..... Similar to the Kobe Getting Dealt and Billy Donovan to Kentucky reportings from ESPN.

Do y'all think the Lakers could get him for Kwame + Radman and then complete the JO trade? Sheed and JO would be one heck of a defensive front line. Farmar Kobe Walton Sheed JO
If you mean a trade combination of Radman and Brown together will bring sheed yes.I think wallace will bring a lot of enery and defence. And if the Pistons want to go young the trade is kind of perfect. Need for Sheed. The trade works good:http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/trad...83&teams=8~8~13

I think we could get more value for Sheed, even though he is getting on and is on the decline.
