How many guys think Cavs will atleast win one game?

I think at the rate Cavs are playing right now, they are going to get swept. Lebrick needs to step up, or else Cavs are going to get smashed.

I think they'll win game 3 in Cleveland. It'll be by less then 5 points and that's the only one they are going win.

OKAY i'm going out on a limb here - but I think that Cleveland will win games 3 AND 4.......... I just think they haven't showed up yet and too many guys are due to break out. There is no pressure on them now. games 3 and 4 will go Cleveland's way.... WRITE IT DOWN....

As for the Finals MVP, I'd still give it to Duncan, it isn't like he doesn't have the stats to win it.

He had 24, 13, and 5 Blocks in Game one, and a near triple double (23, 9, and 8) in the Game two blowout (played 35 minutes). His interior presence is affecting this series as well.

as of now, TD is the finals MVP, but I'd like to see Tony drop 40 in a playoff game. He has the talent to do it, I think he should go for it.

At the very least, Parker is solidifying his All Star 2008 status.

If the Spurs didn't allow the Cavs to have a 4th quarter surge tonight, I could see them possibly dropping Game 3 and Game 4. However, I think Cleveland's comeback is actually going to hurt their chances of tying this series up. Greg Popovich will ride his team about losing focus and letting up after taking a 25 point lead at halftime.

I know LeBron was in early foul trouble tonight, but I didn't see many adjustments from Game 1. Mike Brown's decision to defend Parker with LeBron has backfired. You're asking your #1 scoring option to defend the Spurs quickest player on the court and the catalyst for their offense. It's too, much responsibility for James to handle, it's too, much responsibility for any player to have to cope with.

Larry Hughes needs to watch from the sidelines the rest of the series. He's obviously ailing from his foot injury, and refuses to take Tony Parker into the post to score. Hughes is now 1-10 in the first two games with only 2 assists.

It's really time for Mike Brown to shut him down and try something new. Maybe use Snow to play more physical with Parker, and instruct his big men to stop giving up uncontested layups. If Parker is going to come in the lane, give him a hard foul and make him think twice about it the next time.

The Cavs rebounded better in this game, but leaving 10 points at the free throw line, is deadly on the road, during a post season game. It's hard enough to score on the Spurs, so you must take advantage of your free throw opportunities.

What I love about Parker's game tonight is that he came back on and killed the Cavs comeback offensively by making key plays. Duncan on the hand was clumsy during that comeback stretch.

If Parker keeps playing like this he might win the MVP, but I doubt it. I'd still give it to Duncan just based on the fact his mere presence makes everything easier for the Spurs.

It's a sad Finals team that plays so poorly that fans begin discussing the MVP after game 2.

I haven't been able to watch a single game. Both first quarters, I see the Spurs dominate, the Cavs sleepwalk around, and I turn off the set in disgust. San Antonio is just too good. The best observation I heard was during the Jazz series, when some analyst said it seems like they don't even need to change their game plan based on who they play, because they know if they play as usual, it's impossible for them to lose. I'm not convinced Jordan's Bulls would've won the rings they did if this team had been standing across the court.

The Cavs, on the other hand, would be lucky to beat any of the West's playoff teams this year... it's incredible.

San Antonio will win another championship. Could Cleveland have beaten Dallas? Phoenix? Not likely. What about Houston and Utah? Maybe, maybe LeBron could bull his way through Houston, but Utah would stomp them. The Lakers would be a Kobe/LeBron pickup game, a 50/50 toss. The Warriors would beat this Cavs team. Top to bottom, there isn't a team in the West that I wouldn't say doesn't have a 50/50 or better shot of beating Cleveland in seven games.

This whole East/West cyclical thing is beginning to look bleak.

That game was painful to watch. When LeBron was in foul trouble, he should have stayed on the court. He's smart enough not to get a third, so why take him out. Or if you do take him out, put him back in when a 20-9 run goes against you, you have to put your star back in.

It was horrible, to be fair. The Cavs don't even deserve to win a game. They might snatch one at the Q, but they'd be lucky, if I'm brutally honest.

After watching the first two games I stand by the opinion that these finals are just a learning experience for the Cavaliers. Cavs are not a championship squad yet, they still lack a shooter and although Gibson is developing into one he's not there yet.

The Cavs made a mistake signing Larry Hughes. Cleveland required a shooter and Micheal Redd/Ray Allen were on the market that year. With the money dished out to get Larry Hughes, I'm sure they could've signed one of these two studs. Although, even with Larry Hughes they made it to the finals, to beat an elite Western Conference team on the big stage of the finals. A shooter is neccesary.

Spurs are just too good of a squad for Cleveland to handle. Duncan has been here three times before (although in 1999 his cast was quite different) and it seems as though Duncan does better every time he is in the finals. Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker are playing great basketball along with the great role players such as Bowen, Horry, and Finley they have on that squad.

Cavs won't come back becuase the Spurs are not the Mavs. Spurs walk and play with a certain confidence that the Mavericks lacked in the finals last year resulting in Dwayne Wade ripping them apart. Spurs will continue to shut down LeBron forcing him to be left with no options other than his role players.

Spurs have this series and judging from last night, these finals may very well be a sweep.

I was still dissappointed with some of the decisions by Mike Brown. Why is Larry Hughes still starting?

And leaving Lebron on the bench for over 9 minutes while San Antonio runs up a 20+ lead?

As I remember, both Allen and Redd shunned Cleveland. He was the only good young guard left on the free agent market, or at least that's how it was spun. Honestly, I think Larry Hughes is a perfectly reasonable two guard for this team when he's healthy. He's still a good defender, he can score (albeit not so much as a shooter) and he's a fairly smart player. The problem is they're playing him at the point, a position Warriors fans are well aware he is ill equipped to lay. But, seriously... better than running Ira Newble out there.

If it's impossible to get Kobe some help, it's got to be more impossible for LeBrick. The Cavs just don't have anything that is remotely attractive.
