Well, ESPN just reported Stan took the job. Which I feel is great news for you guys. While billy would have sold tickets and been great for marketing, there's no doubt in my mind Stan will definitely win more. He's proven, he's a veteran, and he commands respect and is a sure-fire winner. It's my belief Billy's hoo-rah style would not have been an NBA great anyway. In the end, Orlando got the better head coach. Donovan's departure is a blessing in disguise, mark my words.
2 picks for SVG, WTF Riley. I'm happy that we didn't get completely screwed out of our #2 coach too. Him going to Sacramento really freaked me out, but at least he decided to coach the Magic. Should be interesting to see what the players say about SVG.
Wow, so relieving to hear the great news. I thought he was going to Sac town for sure, glad to be proven wrong! I, like Swish, had SVG higher than Donovan on my coach wishlist anyway so I'm happy.
I coulda swore last night espn.com said kings were getting STG. lol But guys two 2nd round draft picks. This is GARBAGE. Ther were so many teams intersted in our abundant second round draft picks, which we couldve easily traded for a first rounder. I mean I'm glad we got STG, and who knows maybe he's the next Pat Riley(just a lil less greedy) lol But we coulda missed out on a draft gem IMO.
