Lebron doesn't have any one nearly as talented as Lamar?
Who agrees with this statement? I seriously do not. Hughes put up 20ppg alongside Gilbert Arenas and Jamison a few seasons ago yet is struggling with the cavs but is still a good player.
Ilgausgus is one of the most underrated or most un-hyped center in the league mainly because he is a solid player and has put up good numbers consistently. Also he made the All Star team some time ago and I don't think Lamar ever has?
Gooden is a consistent double double player and I am beginning to cringe less when he takes a mid range J because he's making them a heck of a lot more.
I'm not knocking Lamar as I love his skill and talent but this guy was exaggerating IMO when he said this.

    Superstar- Lakers Cavs toss up
    Coach- Lakers Cavs</div>

Are you serious? People keep seem to forgetting of all the injuries we have had. We did not have time to form any type of Chemisty going into the playoffs. If you want to see what could have been the Lakers Chemisrty check the 1st 30- 35 games of the season. When at least some them were healthy.
Second. Lakers defence? Again we had injuries which affects this majorly. This team could have been a very good defsive team if healthy.
The only part i agree with you is the bench part. That is the only truth you have in there. Superstar? Is that a question there?

Were we suppose to find that amusing? Do you honestly think the Lakers are better then the Pistons?

I personally think any team in the West that were in the playoffs could have beaten the Cavs in a 7 game series. Again, this team is not a championship team... it cruised the 1st 2 rounds, with no challenge what so ever. Thier only challenge was to beat a Pistons team with no defence. Ben Wallace was the differnce here, with no Ben, LeBron could just run in and dunk the ball. There was no frontline that could stop LeBron James. Also the team seemed to falling apart.

Yeah, OMFGZ!!!! Lebron had one great playoff performance!!! He won the weak Eastern Conference!!! OFMGZ!!!! Lebron is the greatest player ever!!!! Lebron is the bestest player in the whole wide world.

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Kobe

Lebron is the best, he is the greatest. Kobe Bryant should learn from Lebron James because James is the proven winner. He is a champion. Kobe Bryant is a ballhog. If Lebron James hogged the ball as much as Kobe, he would've scored 259 points in one game!! Lebron is great!! All hail King James!!! Kobe should save himself the embarrassment by wiping Lebron's ass everytime he takes a ****. Kobe should pick up the crumbs after King James eats. Kobe is nothing compared to Lebron. Lebron is obviously the better player. It's just like comparing Smush Parker to Magic Johnson. There is no comparison. That dumb Kobe should learn from Lebron, Lebron is all Kobe ever hoped to be. The three championships mean nothing. Kobe had NOTHING to do with the championships. It was all Shaq, even when he was sitting with foul trouble, and even when Shaq was out for half the season with a toe injury, Kobe didn't carry the team, it was Robert Horry and Samaki Walker. Kobe sucks

    Lebron > MJ

Cavs > Rockets(can't close teams out *cough* tmac *cough*), Utah (gave up), G. State (not big enough), Mavs (dirk is soft), Lakers (injury ridden, suck defensively), and Nuggets (suck defensively

I personally would give Cleveland the advantage in Chemistry, Defense and Bench. I'd give the Lakers the advantage in Offense and Coach. Superstar is a toss up. It's all a matter of preference, my preference would probably be Lebron, but I'm sure if you asked everyone that watches NBA it would be very close to 50-50 between these 2 players. Your comment "Superstar? Is that a question there?" is why people hate the Lakers and especially Laker/Kobe fans. Of course it's a question, you can't possibly definitively say Kobe is better than Lebron or that Lebron is definitively better than Kobe. It's not like we are comparing say Jermaine O Neal to Kobe, where Kobe is obviously the better player.

I say Cleveland would win in 5 or 6 honestly(I guess if Cleveland/LA matched up it would be Cleveland with home court, so I say it'd either be 5 in LA or 6 in Cleveland.

I haven't actually read the article yet, just chiming in on that, but I do think Lebron is starting to get close to the hunger that Kobe is so famous for. Honestly saying someone should take a page of Kobe/Lebron's book is a compliment, IMO. What players don't want to learn from Kobe/Lebron.

And Kobe is better player than LeBron, that's just the truth. Kobe played great all season long and LeBron now made a great game but that doesen't make him as good as Kobe. Kobe is just unbelieveble.</div>

Lebron's team was seond in the East during the regular season. Kobe's team was lucky to even make the playoffs.

I think Kobe and Lebron are about even skill wise. They both play a different game. Kobe has yet to prove that he can carry his team on his own. Has Kobe won a playoff series without Shaq??? Kobe is a great player. I have yet to see him carry his team to the level that Lebron has this year. The fact is the Lakers lost in 5 games this year and should have been swept. Lebron takes his team to the Finals at the age of 22.

Much of the people posting on this topic are Kobe fans. I know I will get bashed. Remember basketball is a team game. At this point in their careers Lebron's efforts make his team better then Kobe's.

Pistons choked..It's as simple as that. When you got Flip Saunders, who is the Dirk Nowitzki of NBA coaches, what else do you expect? If the Pistons played to their potential, they should've beat the Cavs in 6.

I'm not going to bash you, but you can't honestly expect a starting lineup of Smush Parker, Kobe Bryant, Luke Walton, Lamar Odom (playing with a shoulder injury), and Kwame Brown to make it past the Suns do you? We took the Suns to game 7 last year, and that was as far as we were going to get with that lineup. Instead of saying, Kobe Bryant has never lead a team past the first round, why not say, Kobe Bryant lead a team of crap to 7 games against 2nd seeded, and much more dominant Phoenix Suns?

Let me restate that, I did not have any time to explain why i said, " Is that a question." First, I really do not think you can compare LeBron to Kobe in any way. They have two different styles of play. Kobe needs to score for his team to win and he is a more Jordan type of player. So you can compare Kobe- Wade- Jordan. As for LeBron i think he needs to score a little more, but what he is doing right now, which is Oscar Robertson type of play is what makes the Cavs win. The teams are built differnelty to match the type of the play of the superstar. So it really is not a question. You can't comapre two differnt types of play and say who is better.

    hmm.
The Nets would probably have swept the Lakers.
The Cavs would have beaten them in 6 games.
The Pistons would probably have swept them also.
The Bulls would have swept them or beaten them in 5.
Even the Raptors would have given them a run for their money
Face it the Lakers suck and wouldn't have done crap in the Eastern conf.
the only teams they would have beaten would be Orlando and the Gilbert-less Wizards.
