No Isiah stick to the plan, we need KG/O'neal. We don't need trouble such as Sheed here.

Rasheed Wallace probably wouldn't help the Knicks much.

I also can't think of anybody that the Pacers/Wolves would want for KG/JO. The rumors floating about these guys have involved names like Odom, Bynum, Stoudamire, Deng... do the Knicks have anybody of comparable upside they would trade? I don't think they do.

I don't think that the Knicks have any player that might interested the Pistons. And KG to Ny seems impossible since he won't ask for a trade and as for O'neal rumors has it that the Lakers are after him with a better deal at this time for O'neal.

Why is every player rumored to be on the Knicks? Kobe, Vince, Jermaine, KG, Sheed, etc. [IMG]

It's the nature of the New York media beast, I'm afraid.

The Lakers would certainly seem to be in a better position to trarde for O'Neal. They have a still relatively young, talented forward in Odom, and a potentially dominant big man in Bynum at only 20. These pieces would seem to more intriguing to the Pacers, although they might have an easier time pawning a bad contract (Mike Dunleavy) to the high payroll Knicks.

Why would the Pacers want Odom?

Despite his "potential" at age 28, he has a huge salary, and wouldn't put the Pacers in a better position after they trade Jermaine O'Neal. Bynum is the Lakers' only real asset.

    This happens every season [IMG]

The Knicks are always interested in aquiring every single player that is available

You really overate the Knicks players...
Why would Sheed want to go to a losing team when his already on a winning team. Not to be rude with the Knicks fans.

That's moot; Sheed isn't a free agent therefore it's not his decision whether or not he will want to join the Knicks.

And if you haven't noticed, the Lakers aren't a winning team either.

I misread your post and thought you were talking about the Lakers had a better chance landing Sheed.

And 3 years left on his contract is exactly why he doesn't have a say on where he goes.

Yeah, but I doubt Sheed would want to come here, because honestly, he has a better chance at winning elsewhere. Given the guy's trackrecord, do you really want a discontent Rasheed Wallace on your roster? He'd do more harm than good.

Sheed would just add to the circus in New York. Hes on the downside of his career. I dont think theres any trade New York can make to make themselves better. They probably will have to wait out all of their horrible contracts before they can really start rebuilding and getting better.

I think it would be a good risk for the Knicks to take on Sheed. An Eddy Curry/Sheed would be a pretty nice Frontcourt.

If we got Channing Frye, Randolph Morris or Jared Jefferies off you guys, I would be happy with trading you Sheed, but I would rather explore other options through other teams.

Why every year do I have to hear about the Knicks trying to get everybody?? It's ridiculous. You guys will probably overpay for someone like Steve Blake or something.
