    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Rasheed Wallace is the latest human pi?ata.

Everybody -- or so it seems -- wants the Pistons to trade him. It's not shocking. Fans are emotional.

Their reaction to Wallace, who got two technicals and was ejected from Game 6 against the Cavaliers on Saturday night, is expected.

But if they don't know why he was so angry -- Wallace took exception to the Pistons reaching the foul limit early in the fourth quarter -- they don't know him at all.

Wallace couldn't be reached for comment Tuesday. But those who have been around him the last three years understand the passion that burns within him.

"People don't know how intelligent he is," guard Lindsey Hunter said.

"He knows what's going on out there. It hurts him. He knows when things aren't done right on the court and when we're not getting the calls. You can't get mad at him for caring."</div>

L.A. will take him for cheap. He's at the tail end of his career, if they have a fire sale on him I'd love for L.A. to throw their hat into the competition.

What would you guys give up though? I dont think Joe D would be willing to take anything off your hands. Maybe Kwames expiring contract, but thats about it.

Unless you want to give us Kobe [IMG]

I think Kwame's expiring contract, Brian Cook, and our first 2nd round pick should get it done.

I don't think Joe will blow up the entire Pistons team just for the hell of it. They are still capable of competing for a title if they retain Billups and add some more bench depth. I think the way people are treating the Pistons as if they have "fell from grace" is pre-mature.

Beside having his problems Wallace is a great player i don't know why they want him out of Detroit .Don't think Detroit going to vanish all of their good players. I will like Sheed in the Lakers. Kwame's expiring contract, Brian Cook, and our first 2nd round pick looks very tempting to me.

if we could get wallace for kwame, the 19th pick and a couple basketball pumps we should do it. Rasheed has the skills to be one of the top 10 players (4 years ago it would've been top 5) so he'd be one helluva steal.

[IMG] Duh! Don't you know? Our lineup next year is supposed to be:

    Kidd/Billups
    Kobe/Evans
    Artest/
    Jermaine/Rasheed
    Camby/Maagloire

If the Lakers are planning on keeping Kobe and Odom together, though I'd love to get Sheed and Artest, two moves which I think we are capable of. Rasheed and Artest would be our enforcers. Teams wouldn't lay a finger on Kobe with those two on our team.

Not willing to do it unless you throw in Smush Parker.
