CP3 claimed allegiance to the Hornets, saying he wants to be a Hornet for life, which is honorable. "I plan on being with the Hornets my whole career," Paul said. "My deal's a little bit longer with the Hornets (than with Chesapeake). So I plan on being with the Hornets." -- The Oklahoman </div> <div align="center"></div> Great news IMO for Hornets fans. This guy is a young and superb athlete who makes his surrounding players better. Already one of the best PGs in the league at such an early point in his career.
Got to love CP3 the kid is wise beyond his years. I don't know how much you should really read into this though, because to be honest does anyone expect him to say anything different? I love players that spend their entire careers with one team, but I wouldn't be upset if later in his career he played for a big market team like Chicago or Los Angeles.
It's good to see Paul loving NO. The important thing is to keep him happy, and to ensure that, the management needs to surround him with good players. I'm sure none of us would like to see another KG situation.
Chris Paul is one of my favorite players. I hope he does stay with NO his entire career and they build a contending team around him. I cant wait to see him in his first playoff series.
And on another note, by the time Paul is in his prime years alongside David West. The Western Conference we'll be depleted by age. Such as Dallas,San Antonio, and even phoenix. So yeah I'm with you,Answer. I'm very excited to see his first playoff series as well.

<div class="quote_poster">The Walrus Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">well no i mean they're gonna be a threat in the west. Not like a sure champion. thats all.</div> They will absolutely be a playoff team, I don't disagree with you there. I merely was pointing out that the west won't be depleted because of age as you suggested due to the tremendous young talents who will be entering their primes.
