Hey everyone. I'm going on holiday to New York, and I arrive there on the day of the NBA Draft at MSG, so I'd love to go. How does attending it work? The MSG website says I have to buy a ticket from 11am on the day of the Draft at the box office, but I won't be in New York until mid afternoon. Will the tickets sell out, or can I just turn up at start time (7pm) and get a ticket then? Also, I've tried to research, but the internet is a bit vague. It's just like going to watch any sports event, yes? I won't have to wear a tux/be a member of the media etc. to get in? Thanks a lot, Ben.
last year i went, and i am again this year. last year though, the tix were on sale early the day BEFORE the draft, and i was pretty close to the front of the line when they opened the doors. i'd still say that if you arrive in the city at midday that if you you go the garden as soon as possible you should get tix. there were a lot of people there last year. lot of people = a lot of tickets. also, wear whatever you want. anyone can get in if they have a ticket.
