Wellno need to it's only been 2 series so no need to panic but I wonder if Brett's wishing he retired. I think it's a pretty bold prediction to think he'll make it 16 games this year. So far the line looks like a siv. I guess the rookies got 4 games to get ready or it could be Rodgers by game 2. Again it's only one game but you can tell yourself you don't care about preseason but once the games on I still hate losing.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Zackman)</div><div class='quotemain'>3 and out on his 3rd and final series too. 4-12 is looking pretty good at this point.</div> I know you wont back that up by getting in on NFC north bet. When lions are 2-6 you disappearing again?

LOL BF1 is a Bear out of hibernation. The one advantage is we won't play the Chargers every game we do get the Lions twice Rivers sure looks impressive

People make fun of me when i say something stupid. But, i never leave when bears are losing. I still show. Zack leaves the minute lions are down.

You still disappeared. Not a valid excuse. You know i am right. Call me names all you like.
Zackman your all talk like what BF1 said...Im worried about the line. How is it looking on TV? Im watching it on NFL.Com = GameCenter...Looks like its 14-0

1 Word, BAD. Favre doesn't have anytime to make throws and the running game is lethargic, if it doesn' t improve, another losing season coule be instore, however we have to remember we have two rookies starting on the inside in their first EVER NFL action, I say we give em a few games before we give up on them lol.

Not good, but to be expected. It was alot of those guys first live action. If they don't play better next week I'll be a little worried. This game gave the coaches a chance to see how they play live, and they now have a chance to correct them.
If we could get a strong runnig going would sure take the pressure of the youngsters. Best way to beat a pass rush is run by it so maybe when Green's back will help
Watching a little of this game, this is what I came away with... good and bad for both. Green Bay... looked like a team that will struggle to win 5 games. O-line is a necessity. But it's only the Preseason... they've got time to get some rythym and consistency with the O-line. Phillip Rivers seemed very efficient. He seems to be reading the defense pretty well. The Chargers could be pretty good this year. Of course it's only the preseason, and defenses are pretty vanilla.
I didn't see the game, but I disagree with McCarthy's decision to go for it on 4th and 2 at the Charger 14 yard line, down 7-0. Pre-season is more about evaluating your team than it is about winning. He should have kicked the field goal. With all of the uncertainty about the kicking game, going for 3 would have given him a chance to see Cundiff in action and then give the kickoff coverage team a shot on the ensuing kickoff.

They didn't, but if they did, the only talk about the play would be how they pulled together and made it when it mattered.
